After multiple inqu Where do I begin...first off the vehicle was not available when said due to presumably a repair needed due to an in house problem. After multiple inquiries, it was said the bed of the truck needed to be replaced and it would be available at X date. Once vehicle received and I asked about the bed replacement, I was told they have no record of such a repair...I negotiated that the shipping would be 150 dollars off but that it would be credited after the 7 day acceptance period once receiving the vehicle. I asked for email confirmation of this and received it but when I went back to search for the mail it was nowhere to be found??? Needless to say, it has been 6 months with no check yet in the mail. Then...I was told the vehicle was serviced... with putting less than 1K miles on it, I changed the oil and it was very apparent from the looks of the oil that it had not been changed in the allotted service time much less within the last thousand miles. So thanks Carvana, I learned a very good lessen- stay away from your business!!!!! I like the vehicle but never again will I buy from Carvana More

The trade in value t This is the 3rd car I purchase from Carvana. I believe they are disrupting the used car market in an amazing way for consumers. The trade in value they offer is far beyond what I received from anywhere else (about $2K more). The prices for cars are extremely competitive and usually a couple of thousand dollars less then anywhere else. If you are looking for a used car I would start here. Yes, you may want to go test drive cars else where, which is a drawback if you're not sure the type of car you want, but once you know what you want. Just get online and set up some filters and notifications and when the car you want appears, lock it in. I don't finance cars, not that I'm rich but I have saved up and buy cash, so I don't have experience with Carvana's finance department. The process is super simple, mostly done over the internet. Then you schedule your pickup, which is a process of about 10 minutes, depending on how long you check your car before driving it home. Then they give you 7 days no questions asked return policy. Which is awesome. I used this return policy 2 times (you get a max 3 times for each purchase). They didn't give me any grief about returning a car. I just selected another car that I wanted and they scheduled a swap of the 2 vehicles. Carvana staff I have interacted with have been great. It seems they enjoy working there, probably because they're not trying to sell you anything, but get the joy of seeing people like me pick up a new "used" car. (Not to mention the vending machine... it is pretty cool) I have shared Carvana with family, friends, and coworkers. I think it's great, I won't ever go back to a dealership... well maybe to test drive a car. I thought CarMax was great for used cars and in a sense they were, but if you look at prices, CarMax is significantly more expensive...in the thousands for cars with much more mileage. Keep it up Carvana! More

Having shopped locally at multiple dealerships I was having a hard time locating the specific model for my son and the few that were close were not priced in a way to overlook the lack of a perfect match with our needs. So, one night I signed up for Carvana after finding multiple good matches. The pricing was right in-line with what I expected, so even though this new purchase method was it was a bit outside of my comfort zone, a Jack & Coke and my son's need for a car soon convince me to give it a try. Within about 1/2 hour, we were all set with financing and a delivery the following week. My one disappointment was that I did not find a way to add my son to the loan so he could build credit. However, I cannot be sure that the ability did not exist, just that I did not see it. Other than that, everything went exceedingly well. The car was as expected, the delivery person was very well versed and organized to simplify the process and we can truly say that Carvana will be our go-to for future used car purchases. More
Downhill Fast. Where to begin? I purchased a truck from Carvana on December 8, 2019. That was 11 days ago. At the time, Carvana quoted me a delivery of December 1 Where to begin? I purchased a truck from Carvana on December 8, 2019. That was 11 days ago. At the time, Carvana quoted me a delivery of December 13th. I wasn't thrilled with the trade in offer, so I opted to keep my car and sell it privately to another party. The good: The purchasing process was super fast, and easy. It left me with confidence (which would be eroded later). The bad: Part 1. On December 12, 2019 - Carvana called me to tell me that their delivery truck had a breakdown and delivery of the vehicle would be delayed 1 business day (they don't drive on weekends according to the representative). So... no big deal, I get it... things happen. I had taken the original day off from work to receive the vehicle and as a consultant, I didn't really have the option to reschedule all of the meetings that I had already canceled. (out of pocket now, about $1000). Part 2. The day before the new delivery date, Carvana calls me again to tell me that there was a driver shortage and that the vehicle would have to be delayed until they could get a driver to transport it. This time, I would have to wait until the19th to receive the vehicle. This was a bigger problem as I was supposed to travel to New York on client business, and do some family things like get a Christmas Tree for the house and do Christmas shopping. Since I had to be here in person to receive the vehicle, I canceled my trip. (out of pocket - $700ish on airfare, about $2500 on lost consulting hours). Part 3: On the 18th, Carvana calls me to tell me that all is good and that they have recorded the vehicle at their hub in New Jersey. They will call me in the morning again to make sure my purchase can conclude as easily as possible. Part 4: The morning of the the 19th, Carvana calls again to tell me that the vehicle will not arrive because the transport truck broke down in Virginia. Virginia? You said it was in New Jersey last night, Virginia is further away from me, not closer. It turns out that they had "lost the vehicle" and assumed it had made it to New Jersey. Delivery will be delayed again until the 28th (no Christmas for us now). Part 5: Carvana calls back to tell me that they are willing to rent me a like vehicle until the purchased vehicle arrives. Then tells me that they've called enterprise and that all 3 of the local enterprise dealers were out of cars. Part 6: I call enterprise to ask about rental cars/trucks and find out that not only do they have vehicles, but that they have TEN like trucks sitting on their lot ready to go. Part 7: Who knows? At this point I'm not even sure if the vehicle I purchased really exists. Conclusion: I'm mindful that waiting a couple of weeks for a new car isn't that big of a deal. However, it isn't the 2 weeks that bothers me, it's the lead-on. Each time they changed the dates it cost me time and money. We reserved days to do things for Christmas, work, family etc... Each time those plans were dashed due to Carvana's poor management and follow through. The buying process is brilliant, but Carvana doesn't have the ability to follow through on those promises with a vehicle. I'm still waiting for the truck to arrive (it's a normal F-150, which is the most common vehicle in the United States - not something rare or special) So now, I'm at a loss for words. My old car was sold after the first date was rescheduled and I was promised that the delay would only be a day (which sounded reasonable at the time). Now, it's Christmas time, with no car, no gifts, less money, and no tree. Thanks Carvana. More

I chose to move forward after I went to the local dealership and the price was higher as well as the interest rate. The challenges came with false information provided to me via phone on a recorded line, delivery, customer service and then the car needed service three days after I received it. At least Silverrock came through as expected. There was NOOOOOOOOOOOO service recovery and nothing to make me want to tell others to shop with Carvana. More
