I can't speak highly enough about my experience with Robert Kim and Nick Daugherty at Carver Toyota. I decided it was time to buy a new car and was in the market for my third RAV4. I was a legit buyer Robert Kim and Nick Daugherty at Carver Toyota. I decided it was time to buy a new car and was in the market for my third RAV4. I was a legit buyer, NOT just a "looker" and I wanted to pay cash. I went to two of the Indy dealerships (couldn't even get a return call from the third one) and was told again and again that at I'd have to wait (varying amounts of time) to get what I wanted in the color I wanted. I haven't shopped for a car since my last RAV4 and was astounded (and discouraged) at the run-around and the bait-and-switch techniques I experienced. Of course the salesmen were friendly, but at both dealerships you'd have thought they quit manufacturing RAV4's and I'd be really lucky to get one at all before somebody else snagged it. No effort was made other than to try to sell me something already on the lot (new OR used). In frustration, I expanded my range and called Carver. I made my call on a Monday and - after Robert worked a very long day Tuesday trying to get his hands on the right car - I picked up EXACTLY what I wanted on Wednesday. He had called contacts at other dealerships until he found my XLE Premium, "loaded" in Magnetic Gray on a lot in Chicago. The car was driven down from Chicago on Tuesday and, as I said, I was driving away the very next day. When I picked up the car it was Robert's day off, so I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person. But Nick was right there to handle it all and get me out the door and on the road, even flexing his schedule when I wanted to come earlier that day. It's worth noting that the entire process, right to the point of pickup, was conducted over the phone. If you want to get a particular car and be treated like a valued customer in today's "seller's market", I high recommend you contact the good folks at Carver Toyota! More
