Worth the drive from Albuquerque, El Paso, Tucson Searching with my college-aged daughter for used cars in ABQ, an ad for a new one at Borman seemed too good to be true. They were advertising an Elantra for $600 less than I paid for a 2008 Elantra with a manual transmission. Since I sold that car it turns out I didn't qualify for the $500 'owner' rebate. Fair enough, but that was still $100 cheaper for a car with automatic transmission, Bluetooth, more airbags, etc. Was it a Bait and Switch? Long story short - financing was arranged and everything worked out on e-mail and telephone was exactly as promised after a 3 hour drive to Las Cruces. We did buy some insurance, but it was not a high pressure experience and all was explained with a clear value proposition that we could take or leave. When I add up the expensive components in a car, I honestly do not know how Hyundai can make a car for that price. Perhaps they only can this year since everyone wants an SUV, but this car will be around sipping fuel during the next gas crises and the one after that. My daughter loves her car. Very good experience. I never gave the local guys a chance - they were advertising used rent-a-cars for more than my daughter paid for her shiny new car - and I know that is just where the hassle would start. More

Great Buying Experience We just bought a new Honda automobile from Borman AutoPlex. .Lisa Sorenson of the Service Department actually helped us understand the real econ We just bought a new Honda automobile from Borman AutoPlex. .Lisa Sorenson of the Service Department actually helped us understand the real economic advantages of replacing our broken down fifteen year old Accord with a burned out transmission with a new auto under warranty. She put us in contact with Jason "Fluffy" Saxon who became our Product Specialist and showed us the various Honda models we were interested in, allowed us to test drive them on the highway as well as in the city and made sure that we experienced and understood the various features of the new automobiles. Then, while we were working with Sarah Gallegos in the office to get all of the legal, financing and warranty paper work done the way we wanted it, Jason actually carefully transferred the contents and all of our stuff from the old car we had traded in and got the rental car we had used returned to Hertz and got our insurance transferred from our former vehicle to the new one. I just can't even imagine a smoother, more efficient and more pleasant buying experience for a major transaction. We are not associated in any way with Borman AutoPlex in Las Cruces, N.M., but I wholeheartedly recommend that you see them if you are looking to buy a new car. More
