I emailed my interest and intended visit time and was met by an attentive staff who quickly new why I was there. Elijah A, was very accommodating and genuinely eager to answer any questions I had. After the test drive, we negotiated the details, assisted by Kevin C who I also impressed me. I decided to add the CPO warranty to my contract and then waited for the (new) finance manager to prepare the documents. By the time I could read and sign, I had a headache and didn't fully realize that the Gold Upgrade Plan was added to the contract at a substantial price increase. I knew already that I had 90 days to cancel if I changed my mind so I didn't have it removed. My issue with this is that it was never discussed at all by anyone until I saw it on the contract. The easiest way to avoid distrust, disappointment or complaints is great communication. I see room for improvement in this instance. Some people would claim "Foul" and give a one star review. All in all, this was a good if not lengthy transaction. I feel that the staff I worked with genuinely tried to work with me. Update: After looking over the Impreza at home and reviewing the inspection guidelines for Subaru's CPO vehicles, I will be looking into having a small rusted area repaired that should have been seen and repaired while the car was being certified. I will update after I reach out to Dave S and the team. More

This was my third new car buying experience at Gary Lang, this time on the Subaru side of the lot. I had a few months left on my previous lease but was starting to get the new car itch. I got in touch with Natalie in Internet Sales and she convinced me (fairly easily) that it’d be worth my time to stop by and chat with the sales team. I arrived on the lot and was greeted by Reilly Huber. He was friendly, eager to help, and assured me that I was not wasting his time with my many questions and scenarios. Reilly set up a dealer trade for a silver Forester Limited… and then I changed my mind and wanted white. And then I changed my mind back and wanted silver. After some back and forth with Reilly and his manager we came to an agreement that made everyone happy. Reilly and his Sales Manager, Cody Hamel went above and beyond for me. I came by the dealership every day for 4 days trying to get what I wanted for a price that fit into our family’s budget. I was temped to shop other dealerships. But having gone through this process three times now, I’m confident no one has their customers best interests in mind like the guys at Gary Lang Auto Group. Yes, they’re looking to make money and I need to save money, it’s a battle and it can be frustrating on both ends. But if you’re realistic about your expectations, willing to negotiate and courteous throughout the process, they will do the same for you. See you in another few year, Gary Lang! More
