I went to Fox Valley VW in Schaumburg and met Pete, he is very different from all of the other sales people I erver met thta week or any other time. He is kind and attentive. Took his time involved others, did not pressure me. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything, took me for a test drive and explained all the features in all the vehicles. I canme back three times. In between I went to other dealers. At the end of the day it was Pete that sold me on the car and Volkswagom. I will recommend others to work with Pete and will certainly work with him in future purchases. Thank you Pete! More

I still wanted a wagon and decided to go with Golf Wagon. Matt and John were extremely helpful throughout my several months ordeal deciding whether we were going to get a used car or new. We decided on new car - they went out and found the model in the car and features I wanted. They had it shipped to their location. They had most of the paperwork completed before I even got to their location. I was very satisfied with my experience. More
Great Experience Purchasing a New Volkswagen I first came to Fox Valley VW Schaumburg to test drive a potential replacement car following an accident. I test drove the car of my 16 year old self' I first came to Fox Valley VW Schaumburg to test drive a potential replacement car following an accident. I test drove the car of my 16 year old self's dreams - a red VW Jetta. I did not purchase the 2013 Jetta I test drove because all of the issues regarding the accident were not resolved. After a month of research and test driving 5 other vehicles (2015 Jetta, 2015 Golf GTI, 2013 GTI, 2015 Golf TSI, 2014 Suburu Impreza Hatch) I finally decided upon which car model I would buy. Even though I had visited Fox Valley VW on two separate occasions for test drives - no one ever pushed me into a sale. They truly wanted me to be happy with my car purchase. This is one of the biggest reasons I came back to this dealer when I decided I wanted a 2016 Golf GTI S. Matt and John worked very hard to help me get me into the car I wanted for a price I could afford. They even found the color I wanted, since it was not currently on their lot. Since purchasing my Tornado Red Golf GTI S, Matt hasn't stopped helping me. He's been there to answer all my questions about the car as well as wrap up everything post purchase. It's really great to have a salesperson who supports you after your sale. I am so grateful that I was able to work with Matt and upgrade my dreams from a 2007 Tornado Red Jetta to a 2016 Tornado Red GTI! Thank you Fox Valley VW Schaumburg! More

I have gone and visited the other VW dealers around town and have found Fox Val Ive actually been a client of this location for years. Out of choice. I have gone and visited the other VW dealers around town and have found Fox Valley to be extremely reliable, knowledgeable, and efficient at the services they provide. I just purchased a new GTI. The conversation from the beginning to the end was really enjoyable. They worked with me to reach what I wanted both in the vehicle and in price. They actually showed a caring attitude and a huge interest. Matt and John were extremely courteous and knowledgeable about the cars. I had visited with other VW dealerships and they weren't coming across that way. I would recommend the Fox Valley VW dealership to anyone. Car buying is a tough thing to swallow - but these people really work a making it a good business decision. More

Great experience with the Service Department I found the service at Fox Valley VW to be outstanding. I brought in my 2012 Beetle with a check engine light concern. The part that was causing the p I found the service at Fox Valley VW to be outstanding. I brought in my 2012 Beetle with a check engine light concern. The part that was causing the problem was 5 months beyond the warranty period, but they fixed it at no cost as a good will gesture. They also fixed two other potential problems, again, all at no charge. They even vacuumed out my car! Ryan was terrific at keeping me informed as to what was happening the whole time. They exceeded my expectations and I will be a return customer when the need arises. More

Even though they knew we had a soft corner for Toyota, they still gave us ample time, information and attention. Their follow ups were polite. It was almost like the experience that you would get at a Luxury car dealership. We were recommended by a colleague who leased from here a Passat - the price and experience he got were exceptional and no wonder why he recommended us going here. More
Wouldn't Recommend Shopping Here Shopping for the new 2015 GTI, I decided to purchase the same vehicle at a different dealer nearby at a higher price because of the poor experience I Shopping for the new 2015 GTI, I decided to purchase the same vehicle at a different dealer nearby at a higher price because of the poor experience I had at this dealer. Typical car salesman stereotype experience. I give credit to my salesman who tried to make the sale happen but the manager crossed the line by showing his frustration and cutting off the deal. Felt rushed and pressured to make the decision immediately, as many car salesman do. When negotiating the price, we were a few hundred dollars apart. I expressed that I would like a day to think about it. Manager then asked why. I stated that I still thought I thought the difference was just a bit off between our two numbers and I didn't feel good, since they kept attempting to rush me. I stated I just wanted a day to think about it, and I would let them know. Manager then expressed that if I didn't feel good about the deal then "we don't have to do business." Even though they likely don't need 1 sale from me since they are located in a large and populated area, it was still shocking to see a salesman end a negotiation like that. I previously worked in sales and would never have spoken or expressed frustration like this manager did. Next day went to another dealer I was shopping at. Decided to purchase the car there at a higher price because their treatment to customers was much better. Clearly this dealership didn't understand that rushing customers can result in the customer feeling uncomfortable and hurt the sale. Buying a car is not only about price, but the relationship after purchase. You don't keep a car for 1 year. It's an ongoing relationship for years and could result in other customer recommendations and future car sales. If they felt my demands were too high. Fine. That's business. But don't ever show frustration or any hostility towards a customer. Now I can't wait to tell all my friends and family NOT to shop there and go elsewhere. Also note that many car dealerships offer car washes, free coffee and water, etc. They also ask customers who did purchase their cars to post a glowing review of their experience there, so not many negative reviews make it to their site.
