I purchased a Certified Pre-Owned 2024 VW Atlas on September 6, 2025, from Castle VW of Schaumburg. During the test drive, I raised concerns about multiple windshield chips and was assured by both the September 6, 2025, from Castle VW of Schaumburg. During the test drive, I raised concerns about multiple windshield chips and was assured by both the salesperson, Eryk Buczynski, and sales manager, Anthony Pociask, that the vehicle met CPO standards and would not have been sold if repairs were needed. However, after about six weeks and with colder weather, the chips began to spread, indicating they had either not been repaired or were repaired improperly. Multiple follow-up emails and calls to the dealership throughout October went unanswered or unresolved, despite repeated requests for a copy of the CPO inspection report. Because I live several hours from the selling dealership, I contacted my local VW dealer for assistance. Their staff helped coordinate an inspection with a local glass company, which confirmed the windshield had not been properly repaired and should have been replaced entirely. I was informed that the dealership’s three-month warranty only covered repairs, not replacement. When I relayed this information to Castle VW, my concerns were dismissed, and I was given limited options: file an insurance claim with a deductible, drive seven hours round trip for replacement, or accept a partial reimbursement well below actual replacement costs. Additionally, I received inconsistent and incomplete inspection documents, none of which were the official CPO inspection report I had repeatedly requested. After escalating the issue through VW Customer Care and ultimately to a vice president of the auto group, it was confirmed that the CPO checklist had not been completed at the time of sale and that I should have received specific documentation per VW’s CPO program. Nearly two months after purchase, I finally received a CPO inspection report dated well after the sale. Ultimately, the dealership agreed to replace the windshield at my local VW dealer at their expense and complete the required CPO inspection. This resolution reflects what I had requested from the beginning and came only after months of unnecessary delays, miscommunication, and wasted time. More

Just had excellent service from Castle. My sensors started acting weird and turning themselves off, after recently getting my battery changed.
