Located originally at 317 Lexington Ave. , the dealership moved to its present location in 1997. It is only fitting, since the present location on Broadway, was the original site of the beginning of the growth of the Cavender brand in South Texas.
Started by James M. Cavender, and his twin sons, Jimmy and Billy, the dealerships are now moving into the 3rd generation of Cavenders.

This has been the most horrendous experience at this dealership. After purchasing six vehicles from the dealership, we have opted to take our car servicing and vehicle purchases to another Cadillac dea dealership. The sales experience with Bryan Sanders was the worst we’ve ever received. He obviously showed no professionalism nor respect with the processing and handling of our trade-in. Especially when he was the one that reached out to us virgins to trade in our vehicle. he obviously did not care about any of the issues we were experiencing with a brand new vehicle once the deal was made.. his love him and leave them approach was very apparent. We had a wonderful experience with Val and David. The only complaint I have is they replaced the tires on my 2 year old vehicle with $69 tires, so of course we are getting a new set of tires.
