I brought my truck into the dealer at 0700 for early drop off. At approximately 1030 inwas contacted for elective services. I denied those. They did not address the issues brought my vehicle in for. I brought it in for was a recall for the tailgate. When I went back at approximately 315 PM, they were still unable to open my tailgate but assured me that now the part that was causing the failure was in no way related to the “recall”. There was no way it Could have been properly diagnosed with out being able to freely open the tailgate as a whole. I had gotten an oil change and tire rotation. That was the only thing done right. With my inconveniences and misdiagnosed and admitted fault they should have just made the oil change complimentary. Instead they tried to play a bait and switch game and say they were going the now $223 repair for $100 less than the diagnosed rate. They still charged me for the 2 services I had done. A simple oil change and tire rotation. It’s just mysterious that the part involved in the recall wasn’t I. Any way causing the issue. That they don’t have to worry about me EVER patronizing their dealership. This is an on going issue with their Service department trying to cut corners and then have to incur unnecessary expenses. Like I said , I know they won’t care but they will never have to worry about getting my business again. The service manager tried to sway me that he was saving me so much money after they made the mistake and admitted that they didn’t initially fix it even diagnose the issue. Without being able to open the tailgate they could not have ruled out the issue. They just didn’t like being caught in a lie which is apparently how they due business. More

I had an oil change performed on my 2024 Maverick at Celebrity Ford in Toms River recently. I was told it would take about 1 1/2 hours. I was not too happy about that, but I feel like there isn't much y Celebrity Ford in Toms River recently. I was told it would take about 1 1/2 hours. I was not too happy about that, but I feel like there isn't much you can do about it. So, I waited. On the plus side, I mentioned that the little chrome tip on one of power window buttons had developed a sharp tip and was told it would have to be ordered. I told the service rep I would have that replaced when my next oil change was done. I was not coming in just for that after hearing it would take an hour and a half for an oil change and he said he understood. Upon meeting with a different rep to pay for the service, he told me that they changed the chrome tip and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that! So, I guess it was a mixed feeling about the service. I really don't think it should take that long for an oil change. More

Title: Responsive Team, But Out of Touch on Market Pricing I recently inquired about a new, but aged showroom model — a 2023 Ford Explorer Platinum AWD with minimal miles (VIN: 1FM5K8HC4PGB26503). Pricing I recently inquired about a new, but aged showroom model — a 2023 Ford Explorer Platinum AWD with minimal miles (VIN: 1FM5K8HC4PGB26503). I appreciated that the team at Celebrity Ford, especially Michael Battaglia, was very responsive and professional in their communication. They got back to me promptly, which I truly value in a dealership. However, despite presenting a serious and well-researched offer of $47,000 out-the-door — which reflects current market data, certified pre-owned comps, and the aged status of the vehicle — the dealership stood firm on a figure that doesn't align with its real-world valuation. It was disappointing that a fair and reasonable offer wasn’t acknowledged, especially given how long the vehicle has remained unsold. This could have been a win-win: helping move aged inventory while earning a satisfied customer. Great communication, but more flexibility and market alignment on pricing would go a long way.
