Great Job As you might have imagined, I have purchased many cars in my adult life. For myself and for my family members. Most of the time I have been quite plea As you might have imagined, I have purchased many cars in my adult life. For myself and for my family members. Most of the time I have been quite pleased with the vehicles I have purchased, with few exceptions. However, I hate the actually buying process. The last car I purchased prior to this one I had done my homework. I knew what care I wanted. I knew what options I wanted and I knew what I should be paying for the vehicle. Despite all of that, I spent 8 hours in the dealership hammering out a deal. As a result of my last purchase I was very reluctant to go through this process again and would do anything to avoid it. Again, I did my homework and selected a Ford Fusion as my next choice. I first contacted Gene Wendelken at Downs Ford. I gave him a short list of "must haves" in the vehicle. By that afternoon I received a call from Gene. He said he had found a vehicle that matched all my needs. He put me in touch with Mike Quinn, who would be my salesman through the process. I stopped by that evening and Mike showed me the vehicle, took me for a test drive and then went through the numbers with me. The whole process was very transparent, no games, and we were done in under an hour. That was Wednesday evening. I picked the car up on Friday and I am quite happy with the vehicle and the process. I would do it again tomorrow if it was always this easy. More
