This dealership was my final stop for a car lease after a weeks worth of research, price comparisons, test drives and talking to dealers. Upon walking into Mid-Atlantic I was cordially greeted by the receptionist and who introduced me to John Hertlein. After a weeks worth of dealing with other dealers, I had some preconceived ideas, which were almost completely dispelled after the first 10 minutes of speaking with him. Sometime you just get a "feeling" in your gut and John made me feel like everything was on the 'up and up' - so much so, that I was comfortable enough to sign a lease for a 2013 Elantra the price that I wanted to pay. John was cordial, attentive, thorough and very knowledgeable. I also had my 6-year old son with me through the process and really appreciated how John included him in the process and made sure he was comfortable for the 3 hours we spent in the dealership! Top notch service with caring salespeople - you can't go wrong at Mid-Atlantic. My fiance is currently interested in the Santa Fe and when we are ready for purchase, we will definitely be going back to see John at Mid-Atlantic! More

I saw their internet ad listing 2003 Santa Fe for $4995 with 102000 miles. I called, spoke to Donna who told me vehicle was available and price was negotiable. I drove out (about 50 miles) and met Francisco, the salesman. I test drove the car and liked it. When I tried to negotiate the price, I was told it was firm. When I presented the $200 internet discount coupon, I was told it was not applicable. When I went back the next day to finalize the purchase, (they told me everything was good to go, just come and sign the paperwork and pick up the car), I sat in the showroom for 2 hours. I was then told I could not finance the car unless I bought a 3 year extended warranty for $1800. After getting home with the car after purchase and reviewing the contract which I had signed I found the original purchase price had been inflated to $6694, the extended warranty was for 24 months, not 36, and I was actually paying $10,633 for the car. After driving the car after dark, I found the lights on the dash and the shifter were not working. I called and emailed, I was told someone would get back to me, I'm still waiting. I believe the tactic of having me wait in the showroom and then having 20 pieces of confusing paperwork shoved in front of me for signature by the finance manager was done in order that I would not review the numbers as carefully as I should, and it worked. I will not go back. More

THE STAFF WAS SO COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY. I WAS THERE FROM 2PM TO 6PM AND HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE. I received a letter in the mail and went down to check things out, I had a 2011 Sonata that I leased from them and met Ana Lopez who was very friendly and tried very hard to try and make a sale. I leased a 2013 Tuscon which I love but as noted in previous ratings I too felt I was blind sided by the hidden cost upon signing the leasing agreement. Over all I would totally recommend the dealer ship. The service department is by far the best. More
The salesperson, Mike Elder was knowledgeable, courteos, and understandable. The final write up with Chris was a little different.
