Horrible Good evening, I am writing to you because I am dissatisfied with my experience at the dealership that I had on Monday with Garret purchasing a new Good evening, I am writing to you because I am dissatisfied with my experience at the dealership that I had on Monday with Garret purchasing a new 2018 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. I actually came back to Garrett because I also purchased a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk from him two months ago. At the time he was a great help on getting my vehicle financed though when I came to pick up the vehicle there was damage to the door that was not discussed or repaired previous to be picking up the vehicle leading to me having to sent an additional appointment for service to have it corrected because it wasn’t completed before the sale, as well as some issues with the transmission. Service was great and they did get everything taken care of. So when I decided to trade in my other Jeep that I have owned for awhile I reached out to Garrett because he did put in at least a good effort and I'm new to doing business in that area, as I recently started a position as a manager at the T-Mobile call center. I had look at the vehicles online as I knew I was looking for a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and you did have one available as well as a few others I looked at. I corresponded with Garrett via email over a few days and he was able to get me approved on the 2018 New Grand Cherokee Trailhawk that you had in stock. We set an appointment for Monday for Me to come in and complete the sales and trade. From here on out the transaction went down hill. When I arrived at the dealership at 5pm and checked in Garret wasn’t even available and was paged multiple times to then pull into the deal shop about 35 minutes later, and was helping another customer. In this time I noticed that there were scratches on the hood of the trailhawk when I was told it was in perfect condition. I address that with him and was told that it just needed to be bugged out and he sent it back to recon. We then went inside to complete paperwork which also was not ready and I had to continue to wait while Garrett worked on another appointment and sent someone over to handle part of the sale. Then when the paper work was brought over to the desk, now well past 610pm. I advised him I needed to pick up my children at 645pm in Topsham. Then when we were to the end of the paperwork and I brought up the scratch on the hood again of the BRAND NEW VEHICLE I was told it would need to be fix with a touch pen. I did not realize that that was what he considered an acceptable fix, and that it would Need to gone over a few times. At this point with the cost of the vehicle I just signed for that had damage on it caused at the dealership he wanted me to sign that nothing was owned to me by the dealership on the paperwork and when I brought that up I had to fill in the damage information myself because he was in such a hurry. When we went out to the vehicle he hurried through the features of the vehicle and I literally receive zero personal attention through the entire purchase. I know he was hurrying for another appointment because again he was being paged for another customer. One top of all that we had to return title paperwork for my trade as at that time I had a co-signer and when my husband dropped it off Garrett told us to ensure we picked up additional paperwork we needed, when my husband arrived this evening no one seemed to know what he was talking about and even when Garrett was called he didn’t have a clue. Also again after being told to come at 5 my husband waited again. Which is just poor service all around. This is beyond frustrating because I was already approved for financing and going to purchase the same vehicle at Lee Dodge in Westbrook as I have had my service done there for years but I returned to Garrett because I wanted to give a smaller dealership my business. After this experience I’m regretting my choice. I speak with a large amount of people in my work and I always recommend businesses that value the customer. I could never recommend the dealership after the way I was treated and how I ended up leaving the dealership that day. I’m beyond disappointed because Lee was able to give me a me a little bit better of a deal but I came back to your dealership on principle and the effort Garrett had originally put in. There was effort to get the sale and than I couldn’t have matter one bit. How could a brand new vehicle be sold with scratches on the hold and the buyer told it would be fixed, and then after the paperwork is done, the resolution is a touch up pen. Do you think that sounds correct and reasonable? I never in my life thought I would say I wish I had done business with Lee Dodge, but my experience was nothing short of a disappointment and believe me if I could return the vehicle and undo the transaction I would. That is the level of disappointment I have with everything that has happened with this vehicle purchase. Buying a new vehicle should be exciting and a great experience, I manage sales people and would never tolerate my associates treating a customer in this fashion. More

Comfort at a car dealership After several trips to different dealerships with less than thrilling experiences, (being haggled, being swarmed by different salesman while walking f After several trips to different dealerships with less than thrilling experiences, (being haggled, being swarmed by different salesman while walking from my car to the dealership, having vehicles that I had appointments to see be sold by the time I drove an hour to see them, being cat called while walking through the dealership, having a salesman knock on my window while I drove through a lot, having salesman talk to my boyfriend instead of me... I'm buying the car, not him... etc) I finally felt comfortable at a car dealership. I called CMC to inquire about a vehicle and although I was hesitant because they're over 90 minutes from home, I decided to just give it a shot. Jake listened to me on the phone and when I got there, the one car I wanted to see, was waiting for me. He didn't try to sell me on anything else, and he didn't push me to get the vehicle I was interested in. He was simply there for my questions and gave me enough space to check it out without feeling like someone was breathing down my neck. I decided I wanted the vehicle and I told him what I could afford for a payment. CMC made it happen. They knew I wasn't going to budge, and they respected that. I looked at the car on Saturday but I could not purchase it until Tuesday. They held the car for me over the weekend, and then waited until I could make it back there on Tuesday night. They closed at 8pm and I could not get there until 7:30pm. After jumping through hoops with the insurance company, I signed all my paperwork by 9pm. Jake was the only car salesman who truly showed me respect and patience. I know he's making sales, but he is doing it the right way. He's not pushy, he was able to read me and he kept thanking me! xxxx, he did most of the work! Thank you Jake and CMC! tried out and purchased a new dodge ram. I was starting to spend more money repairing my 10 year old chevy, so I decided to replace it with a new truck and decided it wouldn't be another Silv I was starting to spend more money repairing my 10 year old chevy, so I decided to replace it with a new truck and decided it wouldn't be another Silverado, very disappointed with lack of power in the 5.3 and constant shifting of the six speed transmission, decided to try a tundra with a 5.7 liter engine and six speed tranny but with 4:30 gear ratio instead. I liked it but after informing the dealer I wanted to try a dodge also, he offered to drive me to their Ram site and introduce me to Mike Loubier who quickly showed me the Ram Big Horn Quad Cab 5.7 hemi, with eight speed transmission, which I fell in love with. and after discussion about getting the optional 3:92 ratio we were able to settle the deal. It was that easy. no doc fees or hassles.definitely recommend central maine motors for whatever your auto needs may be, Yours truly, Brian Martin. More

We had identified a potential option with them, via the internet and e-mails, and traveled from Bangor to check it out. When we arrived, they had the car out front and ready to view. Although we didn't end up with that one, Garrett worked hard to find us the best fit for our needs and price, and we ended up with a better option. He was very professional and courteous. When we picked up the vehicle, its condition was outstanding, and the paperwork was completed quickly and without issue. The personal touches were also much appreciated. We will definitely recommend this dealership and hope to do business with them in the future. ...even if we have to drive a ways to do that! More
