Subject: Misleading Advertisement – Lifetime Powertrain Warranty Not Honored Dear Champion Chevrolet of Howell Management, I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding a m Warranty Not Honored Dear Champion Chevrolet of Howell Management, I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding a misleading advertisement for one of your vehicles listed on CarGurus (2018 Ford Escape SE FWD; Vin 1FMCU0GD5JUB52291; Stock No. 34095A) Your online listing prominently advertised a “Lifetime Powertrain Warranty” (picture 16/26) with no conditions or exclusions mentioned anywhere in the ad. Relying on that representation, we drove approximately 45 minutes to your dealership to view the vehicle in person. Upon arrival, however, we were informed that the lifetime warranty does not apply to vehicles with over 90,000 miles. The vehicle we were interested in has approximately 95,125 miles, and we showed your staff the CarGurus advertisement, which contains no mention of any mileage restriction. Despite acknowledging how frustrating and misleading that is for consumers, no one at the dealership was willing to honor the warranty as advertised. We have retained screenshots and photos of the original advertisement showing the lifetime warranty language without any conditions. This kind of misrepresentation - whether intentional or not-creates unnecessary hardship for consumers and undermines confidence in your dealership’s business practices. We are requesting that Champion Chevrolet of Howell honor the warranty as advertised or otherwise provide an appropriate resolution consistent with the representation made on CarGurus. Please respond within two (2) business days to confirm how you intend to address this matter. More

I want to give a raving review out to Melissa Mcgrain! !! I had a body shop concern but, wasn't sure who to speak to about it, so I entered the showroom to ask someone to point me in the right direction. T !! I had a body shop concern but, wasn't sure who to speak to about it, so I entered the showroom to ask someone to point me in the right direction. That's when I met Melissa. Even though, she was not responsible for the body shop's job, she graciously invited me to sit down and through professionalism, warmth, and a sincere concern, had me describe my issue so she could have the right person speak with me. Then, she introduced me to TJ Kogut, the Assistant Service Manager, who resolved the problem 100%. Champion Chevrolet is blessed to have such an awesome employee to represent their dealership!!! Thank you again Melissa for your exemplary kindness and genuine concern to have me leave with 100% satisfaction, which is exactly what happened!! More

We have visited a total of 8 dealers this week. So I think our review is educated lol Our initial experience with Joey in sales was great. When it came time to run numbers/purchase things went down So I think our review is educated lol Our initial experience with Joey in sales was great. When it came time to run numbers/purchase things went downhill fast. Vehicle was priced at $15,700. We are a 1 income family, hubby is an 80% disabled veteran, looking for a reliable vehicle at an honest price. Of course tax, title, registration fees are expected. However there was also an almost $1,500 Reconditioning fee & $3,000 service fee added on. When we inquired we were told the the reconditioning fee is average cost of what they put into the vehicle before selling (why is this cost put onto the buyer?) & that the 3k service fee is for the "Powertrain warranty & other warranties". Yes the power train warranty they proudly display as INCLUDED apparently is 3k. When I voiced concern they did immediately remove the 3k service fee without hesitation. So be sure to ask they remove it for you as well if you choose to purchase here. lol. We chose to go elsewhere & not support bad business practices like this, to a veteran no less. If you want an honest dealer, we visited 8 dealers, Crest Ford is where we ended up and are very happy. More
