Th I’m a Viet Nam veteran, Blinded in combat 1968. When my wife and I went shopping for a new X5 I was interested in specific things on the vehicle. These were things, besides color, my wife could care less about. After much online research and calling dealers about their inventory, I knew I was going to have to factory order our X5. We pulled into the Chapman BMW dealer on Camelback in Phoenix around the 2nd of December 2015. We live in Prescott AZ about 2 hours north of the dealership. As a cut to the chase former Marine, I was not looking forward to the typical xx car sales person. Craig Rusin turned out to be any thing but a typical car salesman. He spent hours with us test driving X5s. He listened to my wants in the vehicle and my wife’s questions concerning the high tech features on the BMW. At no time did Craig push us into a sale we did not want. The man is just simply honest as the day is long. Even after leaving the dealership that day to consider and discuss our options for the factory order, Craig was ready to answer our questions. He even made time for questions while he was on a family winter get away with his wife and child. After settling on color and other options we placed our order by phone to Craig. We told him that we had our annual road trip to Florida planned for January 20th 2015, and we were concerned that the vehicle would not be delivered in time for our departure. Craig and his manager went above and beyond to have our vehicle moved up in assembly order at the factory. A couple days later Craig called to tell us our X5 was on the assembly line and would be finished and delivered in time for our Florida Trip. We received regular e-mails from Craig on the progress of the X5, the exact location of the X5 on the assembly line, right down to the name of the transportation company when the X5 left the factory. Pretty Cool! We took delivery 10 days before our Road Trip, plenty of time to get use to the machine before our departure. Upon delivery Craig and Elliot Burnette (BMW genius) patiently went over the X5’s multitude of electronics. I had questions on operating the excellent Harman Kardon satellite radio. Concepts that were obvious to sighted individuals needed a lot of extra time to explain and orient me too. Craig and Elliot stayed with me until I was satisfied that I could operate the radio, my cooling and heating of the 20 way power seats, and other features that I could manipulate with physical controls. They both even installed the safety hammock for my Seeing Eye Dog in the back seat for a secure ride! Also, Artin Majidi (business manager) was a delight to meet and chat with. The USAA buying experience was without a hitch. All members of the Chapman team we worked with made the purchase of our vehicle an enjoyable and very efficient process. During our month long trip through, NM, TX, LA, MS, AL, FL, GA, and back, Craig and the Chapman staff were by the phone to answer our questions when they arose from the road. The weather during our trip was miserable. It ranged from snow, sleet and ice to very high winds. This included south Florida, 26 degrees at night in Naples Florida, unbelievable! However, our beautiful Imperial Blue X5 35d traversed all conditions with out a problem. The control of the X5 in these conditions gave us a confident secure feeling. Driving at high speed through west Texas, it was steady as a rock and a great road machine. Best of all 4, four, tanks of fuel from Prescott to Gainesville Florida, Amazing! More

From the first phone call with Steve Murphy to the drive away in my new car the experience exceeded my expectations. I was looking for a specific model with a list of options that filled a page. Steve found the car, added all the extras, and delivered one special ride. Steve is not alone though. Kudos to the rest of the Chapman team that made buying this new vehicle a real pleasure including the Finance, Genius and the Service departments. I highly recommend these guys if you are looking to add a new BMW to your driving line-up. More
5 Star Service I had a bit of an emergency with my BMW and BMW North Scottsdale was unable to see my car for 5 days and Chapman was able to get me in same day. I would have preferred Chapman BMW on Camelback to begin with, but North Scottsdale was closer. Upon arrival I was greeted by the fantastic staff, mind you I had my car towed in because I didn't want to drive it. Dan, my service advisor, was patient explained things in detail. They took care of the main issue and other things I requested to be done quickly. Dan gave me personal attention and made me feel as though I was the only customer there. The service I have received at this bmw location certainly outshines the others I have visited. My car is driving great and the issue has been fixed thanks to Dan and the outstanding service staff. More

What your BMW expects from a service department: Value Added Steve C , the service writer, remembers us and we remember him although we are here with our 135is mainly for warranty work. He keeps in touch, his estimates for time and money are helpful and the whole place is what you expect it to be. It is costlier than a little shop of horrors to be sure because there is value added to be sure. More

Joe followoed up with me a few times as I never had time to stop by the store. When I finally did, Joe was gone for the day and instead, we were greeted by Savas. Savas showed us the car but I was a bit skeptical as I felt it was too small for the family. So, he showed us another one, and after some negociation over pricing we finally decided to get the Rabbit. Throughout the process, Savas was very friendly and understanding of my limits both in price and obligations which I appreciated very much. Thank you for a great experience Savas! More

Paid for new tires, and got 2 years old tires. I own a 328i vehicle, and took my car to Chapman @ Camelback dealer for service last week. After the inspection, it was suggested to change the rear tires. I paid for the tires, and got my car "ready". I got home, and inspected the new tires, but found that I still had the old tires in my car. The tech never replaced my tires, and sent me home with the same pair, but had charged for the new ones. I called the next day, and service department asked me to take the car back. I did, and expected to receive brand new tires. When I read the tire code, found that my tires were manufactured in 2013. The tires weren't used, but not new, as they were manufactured 2 years ago. I paid for new tires (full price), and it is fair to expect new tires, not several years old, as the warranty's life is shorter. I wouldn't recommend Chapman for service. It makes my wonder if the service was actually performed, every time I took my vehicle. The tires were visible, but other services are not. More
