As a Costco Executive Member, I was referred to Chapman BMW on Camelback through the Costco Auto Program to purchase a pre-owned 2020 Z4 30i. Salesperson Kenneth Smith contacted me promptly and offered what appeared to be a fair price based on Kelley Blue Book. However, despite my requests, neither Mr. Smith nor his sales manager provided written confirmation of the quoted price until two days later—at which point the written quote was substantially higher than the original offer. I was then advised that the vehicle, which had fewer than 7,000 miles, required new brakes, tires, and a \$600 battery—adding approximately \$4,000 to the price. These issues raised serious concerns about the vehicle’s condition and the dealership’s transparency. I declined the offer and reported the experience to the Costco Auto Program. Disappointing experience that did not meet the expectations of integrity and clarity typically associated with Costco’s referral network. More

My salesman, Steve Murphy and the Finance Manager, Giuseppe Ferrara where some of the most pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable gentlemen I have ever dealt with, at any dealership. Steve Murphy made every effort possible to get me the best deal on the M60 and Giuseppe Ferrara made the financing a breeze, as a plus, he’s easy to talk to and a hoot. I highly recommend the folks at Chapman BMW on Camelback, and particularly Steve Murphy and Giuseppe. More

Please DO NOT use this dealer for service. I had a simple fuel leak from pump to engine in fuel line in my 2011 328i. 1 line replaced at a cost of $1,300+. First thing I did was try to fill I had a simple fuel leak from pump to engine in fuel line in my 2011 328i. 1 line replaced at a cost of $1,300+. First thing I did was try to fill tank with gas. Would not take gas, pump kept shutting off. Couldn't figure out why, thought it was just a bad pump nozzle. Later found out at a different repair shop that the charcoal filter was completely full with liquid fuel, preventing the emissions system from working properly. The only way for that to happen is to overfill fuel tank multiple times per week until no more gas will fit in filler neck. I always stop at first shut off, so that wasn't it. OR, as I believe, someone physically dumps gas into the filter canister. This is not a problem that will be immediately visible to most people. Takes a minute to destroy the other components. $3,500 later, problem solved. Of course, I can't prove my suspicions since no one is allowed to actually watch the work being done, but I am not a dumb person and have talked to a few techs at BMW and feel confident that I'm right. I will do all I can to pass on my story and help people avoid this dealership for service. More
