Poor Service and Habitual Lying I really wish I could give 0 out of 5 stars, my experience was that bad. First of all, I would like to say that what I was trying to do (lease a new c I really wish I could give 0 out of 5 stars, my experience was that bad. First of all, I would like to say that what I was trying to do (lease a new car with an underwater trade in) would be difficult at best so I was expecting to hear a "no". However, what I was really hoping for was a dealership that would listen to what I needed and present different options. I got none of that from Chapman. In fact, what I heard was a "yes" pending a check with Honda Financial. Since this was a weekend visit, things would have to wait until Monday to be finalized. I was told that I would be contacted as soon as my information was processed by Honda Financial. I was not contacted, I was lead on an 8-hour ride through nothing but broken promises and bold faced lies. I come to find out that my information/application was never sent to Honda Financial and that I was lied to by not 1, not 2, but 3 different individuals ranging from sales reps to sales managers. Not one of them gave me a straight answer or even told me the truth but kept the charade going. It was not until I contacted an old acquaintance that was actually given the truth. More
Service Broke My Cruise Control During Airbag Replacement I took my 2013 Honda Fit to Chapman Honda for the recent Takata airbag recall. They replaced my airbag, free of charge - as expected. The operation la I took my 2013 Honda Fit to Chapman Honda for the recent Takata airbag recall. They replaced my airbag, free of charge - as expected. The operation lasted 4 hours and I waited in the lounge for its entirety. As I was driving away from Chapman Honda, I noticed my cruise control button no longer functioned: the button, located on the steering wheel and immediately adjacent to the airbag, wouldn't engage when pushed in. I drove back. My Honda service advisor, Rene Thompson, fetched his manager, Carl Arrington. Carl Arrington told me that when the airbag was replaced, the cruise control button and associated electronics were not handled in any way and that the dealership could not have been responsible for their breakage. I asked Carl Arrington the cost for fixing the cruise control. Carl Arrington quoted me $213 for the part alone. The fact of the matter is this: my cruise control button was functioning upon arrival at Chapman Honda, but was not functioning on leave. I wish Chapman Honda would admit to their fault, own up to their mistake, and restore my cruise control to its functioning state. I believe Honda Motor Company makes great cars. I just can't believe that Honda Motor Company would let dishonest crooks service them. It is too bad that Chapman Honda did this to me too, as I was looking to get a new Honda in the coming year. But I will shop elsewhere, maybe like Tucson Subaru. As consumers, we buy from those we trust. Chapman Honda has violated my trust and I will not be returning to Chapman Honda for any further business. It is on my account that I hope other consumers consider the risk they face in doing business with Chapman Honda. More

Another Great Experience This week we leased a new Civic LX from Chapman, working with Tom Reesing. This was our second Civic - we leased a 2014 from Tom three years ago. He expedited every step of the way just as he did with the 2014, with no stress or pressure. We have used the Chapman service department exclusively the last three years and will continue to do so. Stress free car buying! Best car buying experience I have ever had! I found a great deal on truecar.com and Amy Allen (internet sales consultant) contacted me to schedule an Best car buying experience I have ever had! I found a great deal on truecar.com and Amy Allen (internet sales consultant) contacted me to schedule an appointment to come in to the dealership. I had already been shopping around a bunch so I new what the deals were from other Honda dealers as well as best loan rates. They matched the lowest of every deal and gave me more for my trade in so they could earn my business. Most stress free negotiation ever! Then I had to bring my kids to sign the paperwork and Adam Kugelman the finance guy brought the papers to me in the kid zone so I didn't have to leave my kids. Excellent service all around! I hope it continues with the service department. More
