Ross showed me where everything was as it this was my first visit to Chapman Hyundai. I went out to the showroom floor and Tye Heinrichs greeted me and without any pressure, asked if he could show me anything. I looked at the Hyundai Vera Cruz and Tye answered all of my questions. Brought my Santa Fe in for a headlight replacement that was under warranty. As ususal, Joe was able to schedule an appointment for me quickly and the work was done in a timely manner. I am a leasing 2009 Genesi . I took the car to Chapman Hyundai because the engine light was on. It turned out to be a difficult problem. But Ross and Mike took good care of me. They had to keep the car ov Hyundai because the engine light was on. It turned out to be a difficult problem. But Ross and Mike took good care of me. went to a diff hyundai dealer in town but sat in the svc lane for five minutes with no attention paid. finally got out and tracked down a svc person. they were unfriendly and had a fee that was more than 2x lane for five minutes with no attention paid. finally got out and tracked down a svc person. they were unfriendly and had a fee that was more than 2x the charge i paid at chapman hyundai (for the same service). i said "no thanks" and went to chapman. upon entering the svc lane, ross jumped out of the booth and immediately began assisting me with my needs and was friendly throughout the entire process. he ushered me to the waiting area and came and got me when the svc was complete. as a bonus, they washed my van at no charge. i typically dread going to dealerships for anything but my positive experience at chapman hyundai made a big impression and i will def. give them preference for any future needs i have with my van. I have been a customer for several years but went for an Oil change to another Dealership closer to my house, where I learned about a maintenance which needed to be done. I felt uncomfortable there and decided to return to the former (Power)Hyndai Dealer, which is now under Chapman, Scottsdale Autoplex. Mr. McDermott gave me an excellent price for the Timing Belt replacement and Mr. Joe Mcanally, the Service Advisor gave me excellent service from start to finish to have the job done, which included a rental car arrangement since it took several hours to do it. It only needed to have the battery replaced, I had been concerned it might be something more expensive, like the alternator, but Joe had that checked out and it is ok. Joe always takes care of my car in a timely manner and he is always pleasant and courteous, I wouldn't think of taking my little Hyundai anywhere else. More

We purchased the autonation plan for maintenance, mostly oil changes. The check engine light came on Sat 13,stopped driving the car. Called Tues 3/16,made an appt for Wed 3/17 at2pm. Was not aware the dealership was gone, sold, moved across the street.Called the same number, they gave my wife the new location, she got there first & iarrived bit later. Joe at service drive acted like my wife was bothering him.He told her she had no appt. She told him of the engine light,& mentioned we had a plan that included an oil change at 3,500 mi. I'm there now as well, it seemed like we interupted Joe's lunch or something, like he was a bit irritated with me too. My wife & I thought the plan we bought was on the computer like everything else is. Joe said engine light problem was covered under warranty, knew nothing about the plan we bought,the oil change would be $38. We did not have the plan paperwork with us,as mentioned,we thought it was in our file. Joe said again, don't know what plan we're talking about,is $38. We told Joe we bought car at Power, Joe said he used to work there, still knew nothing about the plan, $38. Said he'd have the light checked. We got home,found the autonation papers called back. This time,we were sent to an extremely cordial, knowlegeable,helpful Mike McDermitt. Told us the plan was not honored at Chapman,could get that at the Power Suburu across the street,& we may be able to get 9.99 oil changes for life, a deal for folks like us that bought at Power.Joe either knew nothing of this, or just didn't tell us.Badeither way.Theynever found the light problem, but atleast Joe was honest to tell us that..BIG plus there. Hadour car for 2 days to not find problem, and we were tretaed like we were an annoyance. More
