Mr. Stratton our apologies that you found Lisa unresponsive. In checking with the warranty company, the policy was cancelled as requested. The warrant company then forwards the refund to the lending institution that financed your vehicle for you unless they are provided proof that the loan is paid off. You can reach our assistant GM, Scott Stephens on his direct line @ 702-432-2602. Should you miss him please leave a message with the pertinent information (your name, number, etc.) & he will get back to you ASAP. I'm sorry that you waited almost a year to make us aware of your concerns but thank you for your post.

The vehicle was sold therefore there wasn’t a leinholder. I didn’t wait a year I’ve been contacting Lisa AND her manager leaving message after message with no response. When she did respond she said she would take care of it and stupid me trusted that she was actually doing something and waited. She said she would cut me a check. That was the last time I heard from her so don’t put this on me. I tried to call Scott and the number isn’t working - wow imagine my surprise

Forgive me, I mistyped the number, its 702-432-2002. As regards the sale & the loan we show that you purchased in May of '20. If you sold it in July of '20, only a couple of months later, were you able to provide Lisa with proof of the payoff? We are legally obliged to have proceeds sent to the lienholder as they financed the warranty for you. Certainly not putting anything on you just trying to help you get to the bottom of this as that is what we want as well. Did you contact the lender to see if they received the refund? The records indicate it would have gone to them. The good news is that it shows cancelled as you requested & in the proper time frame. Now we need to determine where the funds went & help you get them.

Thank you for your response. Lisa didn’t ask so I didn’t know and was looking to her to direct me in the next steps to take. The leinholder would have sent the difference to us I would assume? I will contact them and go from there. Thank you for sending me in the right direction. Still not ok for Lisa to not respond but hopefully this will move forward

Like virtually every other dealer we advertise our vehicles with pricing after incentives. We don't use all the incentives offered (some are more specific so we allow those to be a pleasant surprise in the event our clients qualify) to avoid any issues but we do include all the incentives that most people will qualify for or those that are consistently used by our competitors. In your case there were incentives we couldn't qualify you for & that lead to a change in the sales price. This is entirely disclosed & is transparent on our website. Mr. Maxwell we don't need to lie to sell cars & I already have a copy of each email. The window tint we install is different then the "tinted glass" which comes from the factory. You have a 702 phone # so I would expect you'd know about the Las Vegas summers. We tint the glass to allow the AC to be more efficient & protect the interior. You were attempting to but for $16424 including tax & we just couldn't accept that offer. We certainly didn't berate you for trying to "steal" a car, it's your money & you get to spend it how you please. However it's our product & we get to decide what we are willing to accept in return for that. Taxes are outside of our control & are paid to the state. Matthew asked about the zip code because incentives are regional & have to be considered. If the incentives for Tennessee are different than Nevada, that too would impact the pricing. If you need further clarification please let me know but we are not as devious as you seem to believe. Thank You, Don Hamrick, GM

If the window tint is after market then it should be in the advertised price of the vehicle same with all add ons and trying to require add-ons for the sale is rediculous. I offered the asking price on your website with extra for doc fees and nevada taxes of which for the vehicle in question was less than 500 according to the nevada dmv website. so my offer based on your sale price was reasonable you just don't want to honor your add it's that simple.

Scott you are mistaken. Nevada calculates the taxes based on the price prior to the application of any incentives. If you checked DMV you might have been checking registration which is a totally separate fee. Taxes on the vehicle you were considering are close to $1700! We honor our sales prices daily & we appreciate your trying to save money, but your offer was simply too low when considering all you were asking us to include. We are happy to work within your budget if there are certain constraints you are trying to meet.

The vehicle was only permitted to go in your husband’s name as the lender wouldn’t allow you on the loan. Nothing was misrepresented & we even offered you your money back & the return of the car. You refused to say you needed the car. We were OK with that but for you to then turn around and post a completely inaccurate review simply because you’re not understanding things isn’t right. Chris came out to speak with you after you began shouting at JT (the gentlemen you say was “friendly” in your review) just to try & explain. Chapman is not the lender & we are bound by the terms the banks will offer. Ultimately you get to decide if you will accept the terms or not.
