The beginning of the Chapman Auto Group dates back to the mid-1930s when Roy V. Chapman Sr. started selling used vehicles from his gas and oil station. Roy V. Chapman Jr. (current retired chairman of the Chapman Auto Group) served in the Navy and fought in World War II. When he retired from active duty, Mr. Chapman went to work at his father's station from 1945 to 1949. Roy V. Chapman Jr. went to work for John B. White Ford at 6600 N. Broad Street in Philadelphia, PA in 1949 as a salesperson. In 1962, Mr. Chapman became the owner of John B. White Ford, until 1973 when he closed the dealership and moved to its present location (Chapman Ford Sales Inc.), at 9371 Roosevelt Blvd., Philadelphia PA. In 1978, Mr. Chapman purchased his 2nd dealership, Chapman Ford/Lincoln/Mercury in Springfield, PA.

Roy V. Chapman Jr., Chairman of the Chapman Auto Group, retired in 1999. He passed away in 2006 but his legacy will always be remembered.

I was previously leasing a Honda and was informed that they did not have what I was looking for. I decided to try Nissan and was pleasantly surprised when I spoke to Henry. The experience I had at Chapman Nissan was great. The sales guy Henry really treated me like I was family and I didn't feel as if I was being taken advantage of, he answered all of my questions, even the sales guy Henry really treated me like I was family and I didn't feel as if I was being taken advantage of, he answered all of my questions, even the stupid silly ones. Yes I am a woman and I was there by myself. The finance department persons I talked to were very thorough with explaining every nook and cranny, they answered all of my questions. Everyone there from the greeter to the manager made me feel great. I didn't leave out of there feeling like I signed my life away. They worked hard to find me a great deal and I brought a used 2008 Nissan Rogue with 34000 miles and in excellent shape. I've been recommending people to Chapman Nissan since I brought the Rogue. This is a wonderful dealership. I bought my Nissan Sentra from them and they were extremely helpful with pricing.
