Dear Tara, As you are aware based on our many conversations, the vehicle was not traded so there would be no sale to be reported, please refer to you documentation which will show NO TRADE. You turned in a lease and will have to go onto servicearizona.com to report you no longer own this vehicle. In regard to the documents you had to resign, yes we did in fact have an error in the documentation that needed to be corrected for your benefit. As stated in our communications the document could have been submitted as it was but as a courtesy to you we held the documents and tried to reach out to you because the paperwork being submitted as it was would have cost you a significant amount at the end of the term. Keep in mind there were THREE different forms that weren't signed, and instead of getting them all to me at once, I had to endure calls and texts for three weeks. And you failed to mention the most recent situation. The salesman neglected to give me my vanity plate off the car I DIDN'T trade in, but rather turned in. So now I have to go to the DMV to get my vanity plate back. I didn't know I was supposed to take it with me, but the salesman should've known that. I'm not an expert at car-buying; very few people are. That's why we're forced to trust the dealership with which we choose to do business. None of these things would be terrible on its own. It's the total experience. I just wanted to get a new car that day... Had I known what I would go through over the course of the following two months, I would've kept my old one. Oh, and Jamie - I notice that you called another reviewer "malicious" for posting on more than one review website. Before you call me names, yes I AM being malicious. My life now has purpose... to tell everyone how bad the service has been at Chapman VW.

Dear Mike, I am a little surprised to see your posts on the social sites especially since we spoke yesterday directly about this concern. The sales person did give you incorrect information I did assure you he would be reprimanded. As for the form letter you and I discussed the fact it was just that, a form letter and it is generated automatically by a computer not a malicious intent by any employee. I did apologize for the letter and extended my assistance to you if you should need anything in the future just as we have done for you in the past when you had concerns. Chapman truly does treat its customers as family, you have been the recipient of that treatment in the past and have thanked me for such treatment. In fact when you called and left me a voice mail that was the first thing you stated, how we had helped you in the past with a problem with another store even though we had no direct involvement. The fact that you are posting all over the social sites does seem a bit malicious on your part. You were not happy with the service we provided and decided to purchase elsewhere, nothing I can do or say can change the fact it happened but as you know we are addressing your concerns. If you feel like there is something further we should be doing, please call me. Please do not continue to post negative reviews as if we have done nothing to address your concerns.
