I just purchased my second Prius from Charles Toyota. Mike Collins was my salesperson and he worked hard to make this sale. I told him when I walked in that I didn't "need" to buy a new car... but if t Mike Collins was my salesperson and he worked hard to make this sale. I told him when I walked in that I didn't "need" to buy a new car... but if the deal was a good one and met my criteria, I would. Mike worked his butt off. I didn't even want to drive the new car, I already knew I wanted it but he insisted. I told him he didn't have to go through all the "perks" with me that I would read the manual. Again, he insisted and went through the new Prius thoroughly. Needless to say, he earned what little commission he made on this sale. He told me he would rather lose money than have me walk out the door. I was so impressed with this salesman and he didn't know it, but I wouldn't buy a Toyota from any other dealer. They have taken care of me for 4 years with my last Prius and I loved that car so much, I almost cried when I left it. It felt like I was deceiving an old friend. The General Manager, Harold Winslow, also took the time to speak with me after the sale was complete and that was something he didn't have to do. My experience couldn't have been better. I walked in not even knowing if I wanted to buy and drove home with my new Prius! Mike Collins and Charles Toyota rock!! More

Rico took extra care and making sure all went smoothly with the transition of the sale. He helped us in doing all the extras to guarantee our satisfaction. Nick, well, can't say enough about him. He assisted us with options available for the financing and treated us with all the respect that he has for people. More
Went in for my 30K service on my Tacoma and to replace a fan on the passenger side(covered under warranty). The service went ok, didn't really feel very personalized. It felt more like they were just going fan on the passenger side(covered under warranty). The service went ok, didn't really feel very personalized. It felt more like they were just going through the motions. I used to go to a dealership back in Washington where they went over with me the service that was performed and any issues, they also washed and vacumed my truck after they were done, and they gave you a free drink from their cafe while you waited. Some nice perks, but now i realize that all dealerships aren't as awesome as this. Anyways, the service was ok. What really got me is that when the removed my glove compartment to replace the fan, they didn't put it back on correctly. When I went to put something back in the glove box the glove box fell off. It was fairly easy to put back on(the correct way). Stuff like this makes me wonder about the quality of their service. Did they actually check everything they were supposed to on my 30K service? Or did they just change the oil, swap out some filters, and rotate my tires, while running through the motions? Guess I wont know. I prefer Charles Toyota over Girrard, but I think I'll try another place next time. Even if it means I have to drive to Rhode Island. More

The service was very good. Mike was knowledgeable of the model that we were interested in and answered all our questions thoroughly. He showed us how to use the car's new tech, such as navigation and setti model that we were interested in and answered all our questions thoroughly. Although he was busy at the time of purchase, he frequently checked in with us in the business department to make sure the transaction went smoothly. He gave us a full tank of gas. I brought my car in for service -oil change and timing belt replacement. The work was completed early and they call to let me know I could pick up the car. When i got there it had been raining for sever belt replacement. The work was completed early and they call to let me know I could pick up the car. When i got there it had been raining for several hours. My car was out in the lot with the window open. The passenger seat and floor were full of water. The service desk person tried his best - even ran out in the rain (no coat or anything) to get my car and bring it in the shop. He tried to vacum out the water as best he could. I call the dealership on Monday to talk to them regarding the good job the service desk person did but also to ask about their process for bring cars out in the lot. The manager was "busy" and would have to call me back. He never did! More

Tom and the service manager were extremely knowledgeable. They took care of items that were not working correctly or were missing from the used vehicle purchased in May 2012. They told me when the parts would be in and how long it would take to install the items. When I brought the vehicle it took part of one day to install the driver side mirror, head rest and the corner cover for the roof rack. It now looks brand new. Will bring the vehicle and buy a vehicle over and over from this Toyota location as long as Tom C. is there. I live in New London and would rather drive 20-25 minutes to Norwich, CT for the amazing service. Regards, Randall Surprenant More
