Buyer Beware In February 2014, I purchased a vehicle from Charlie Rogers Ford over the internet and paid them to have one of their employees drive the car to Texas In February 2014, I purchased a vehicle from Charlie Rogers Ford over the internet and paid them to have one of their employees drive the car to Texas so I could take delivery. When the car arrived, the left rear wheel and tire were damaged (looked like someone had a hard hit on a curb). This damage was not disclosed in their description of the vehicle. While trying to decide to accept delivery of the car, they offered to pay me $500 to help offset the cost of repair or replacement. I accepted their offer and subsequently spent $1,400. After several weeks, I communicated with Brian Smith (salesman) and he said he would check with his General Manager and get back to me. He never responded and has failed to reply to multiple requests thru April of 2014. It is more than obvious that they never intended to honor their verbal agreement and just did what they needed to do so that I would accept delivery of the vehicle. Please be very careful in your dealings with this dealership. They have proven that their actions are that of a typical used car lot and not those of a reputable Ford Dealership. More
