James House is my sales rep, third car I've purchased from him since 2004 + one for my daughter and her husband. James is always a great person, not pushy, good sense of humor, and we continue to come back to him as long as the Toyotas are good cars. We trust James and feel he gives us a good price for what we want. In the past he worked hard to find us a Prius when they were in large demand and has kept in touch with us on birthdays and anniversaries of cars we purchased. An overall great guy and a salesman we enjoy dealing with. I only gave the price a "good" rating because I did little research on the model and pricing for it. I liked the car, and it was in my budget to get it. I'd seen a couple others for about $3,000 less, but they were older and didn't appear to be in as nice condition as the one we purchased. This is the BEST car buying experience I have ever had! I have purchased many cars, both foreign and domestic, over the last 35 years. From our intial contact with Bill Mulligan, our salesperson; through the contact with the sales manager, the detailing representative and the finance manager, every aspect of our purchase went flawlessly. The physical plant of the dealership was impressive (clean, modern, bright and spacious). The one aspect of my purchase that really stands out for me, and was unlike any other purchase I have ever made, was how exceedingly respectful Bill and the other employees were of my time. Every thing was done efficently and there were no surprises. Everything was delivered as promised. I am already considering coming back next year to purchase a Toyota Rav 4 for my wife. Overall, i have been exceptionally pleased with Checkered Flag. I shopped with them in Dec 2011, notified them i wanted to purchase a vehicle in Jan 2012, and basically told them i didn't want a vehicle on Flag. They spent the next 5 months finding the exact vehicle we wanted, which ended up having to be an order from Toyota. There were times when they thought it wouldn't happen, but their perseverance and hard work ensured the car we wanted in the color we wanted finally arrived. Appreciate their patience and hard work. Salesman: Russ Webber - Met him on a pouring rainy day and he spent an hour outside in the rain w/ us, completely defying all preconceived notions of car salesmen. In short, he was excellent, and a major reason we felt so comfortable buying the vehicle we did, and from Checkered Flag. Very knowledgeable on the vehicle, extremely low pressure, gave us the facts and allowed us to make our own conclusions, and was over the top courteous to my wife. I was wary and on the defensive coming into the dealership (hadn't bought a car in 14 years), and felt like i was discussing the merits of the vehicle with an old friend. On the back side, after sale was completed, Russ spent as much time as i wanted showing me aspects of the vehicle and ensuring i was completely satisfied and had no more questions prior to leaving the parking lot. Exceptional customer service. Highly recommend Russ Webber. Sales manager: Don't remember the names, but both the gentleman that worked initial numbers with me and also the gentleman who finalized payment (Mike Yu?) in the back were very professional and courteous. No complaints. Straight forward folks, easy to work with. Adrianna Weatherley: She is the one that gave me the spiel on various options wrt vehicle protection. Though expensive, they are comprehensive coverages and may or may not make sense for everyone. Regardless, she was thorough, low pressure, and exceptionally courteous. Overall: Phenomenal experience, over the top courtesy from the ladies at the desk to the senior managers to the gents out in maintenance. Facility is spotless clean which gives you a nice warm and fuzzy, everyone is uber knowledgeable, and really just a wonderful car-buying experience. More
