I have rated Checkered Flag Toyota a "5" because they have earned my trust. During my time with the sales rep. I started my car shopping experience online - communicating at first with the internet sales rep - who then directed me to the the Sales Rep, Lawrence Doligosa, at the Checkered Flag dealership. communicating at first with the internet sales rep - who then directed me to the the Sales Rep, Lawrence Doligosa, at the Checkered Flag dealership. Lawrence is very friendly and patient, answering all of my questions in a timely manner, whether via email or telephone. However, this is the 2nd car that I have purchased from Checkered Flag in less than 5 years, and I know that I was NOT given the best price possible. I base this statement on the figures that I was given from my car shopping service available through USAA. While Checkered Flag is not a partner with USAA - I would like to think that they would still honor a reasonable price. Overall my experience with Checkered Flag was positive. The location of the dealership was more convenient for me than the dealer that partners with USAA members. Finally and most importantly....I LOVE my new Highlander! More

It was mostly a good experience. Did feel like a lot of extra charges were dumped on me in the latter part of the process. The price initially given to me was good and satisfactory, but then came the char extra charges were dumped on me in the latter part of the process. The price initially given to me was good and satisfactory, but then came the charges for the coatings, and the random dealer insurance, which pushed the price a little higher than I was comfortable with. Would have been nice to know about such things before I signed the paper for the original price of the car--but I have a feeling this is how car dealerships work. In any case, I will tell everyone I know that I got a great deal, because everyone "gets a great deal" when they buy a car. No one wants to admit that they might have gotten a bad deal on such a big purchase. More

This is my second review. My first one was marked great, well wait a week. I have to problems. 1) The Salesman knew I wanted a backup camera and said I can get one installed after; Ok well I go to the parts well wait a week. Come to find out Toyota does not make one for it right now. You can get one if you order your truck from the factory but not after even though the Tundra is wirer for it. Called Michael Cerrone up about it and no call back. Also I'm waiting for the Customer Relations Manager at Checkered Flag Toyota to get back with me and he is over due also. The second problem was the driver side mirror needed to be replaced I called Michael Cerrone up and all I got back was this survey to fill out again. So I went to the Dealership and I talked to Michael Yuan (Sales), He took good care of me. I had the mirror fixed in a few days. Being able to get a backup camera for the Tundra was a big factor for me mostly for my wife because it is hard to see kids behind the truck. Being told you can get one than after the sale is finial you’re told something different. I have owned Toyota for over 20 years and two of the three were from this Dealership. I am rethinking about buying another one in the future. More
