Unfortunately, after my last vehicle was totaled, I was forced back. Even though this is the only Chevy dealership on this side of the Cascades, I had no intention of giving them my business. I found a used Tahoe at another dealership, but when it turned out the truck needed a new transmission and other repairs, my warranty company required me to take it here. That’s when the nightmare started all over again. I scheduled an appointment a month in advance, only to have it suddenly cancelled via email with no explanation. When I replied, no one ever got back to me. So I showed up in person, only to be told I was “late.” They had moved my appointment without telling me. I was brushed off with no clear time frame or explanation of what to expect. Later, I received a call and a few short video clips showing issues with the vehicle. I was told the transmission needed to be replaced, but they couldn’t move forward until they had approval. Six days passed with no updates—I had to chase them down myself. When I asked for a quote, I was ignored. I eventually discovered the holdup wasn’t even with the warranty company, but with the selling dealer. I had to personally call and push the approval through. From there, it only got worse. I was told the work would be finished “early next week” … then “late next week” … then “maybe the week after.” Updates only came when I demanded them, and I was left without a vehicle for nearly two weeks. When I finally got the call to pick it up, the final price was higher than what I’d been quoted (verbally—because they never sent me anything in writing). Even worse, some of the work I had been told would be done wasn’t completed at all. I essentially paid $253 for a “$0 deductible” warranty repair, got a vehicle back running on empty with the gas light on, and still needed thousands of dollars in repairs that should have been covered under my policy. The communication here is abysmal, the business practices are misleading, and the lack of accountability is staggering. This dealership is the definition of poor service, broken promises, and shady practices. Avoid at all cost.. More
Worst experience in trying to buy a car ever. They agreed to sell us a truck and we agreed to pay full price. They collected all of our information and sent us a closing statement. We live 3 ho They agreed to sell us a truck and we agreed to pay full price. They collected all of our information and sent us a closing statement. We live 3 hours drive from the dealership. We set an appointment to sign the paperwork to buy the car when the dealership opened the next day. We were on our way with a hotel room booked in Bend, when they then called to tell us the car had been sold. More
They pretend they care but then they ghost you. Every negative review on here has the standard “we care, call us to make it better”, but it’s all lies. They don’t want to make it better they want to get you off the public forum. We bought a truck and it lasted 30 days when it broke down. We have tried to resolve this with them but they just ghost us. If you want a new car they may be ok, but I would never recommend them for a used vehicle, they make them run long enough to get you off the lot then they really could not care less what happens to you. Bought a used ford F350 and was told the engine had been bulletproofed and that there was a ton of paperwork to support that. When I asked for the paperwork, it couldn’t be found, and after 2 months owning bulletproofed and that there was a ton of paperwork to support that. When I asked for the paperwork, it couldn’t be found, and after 2 months owning the truck, the engine had a catastrophic failed. Come to find out, it was a junkyard motor in the truck and it was hopeless. Mark B More
We had a wonderful experience at Chevrolet of Bend. Our sales rep, Chris was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and even allowed us to take a longer test drive because we had an unusual request. We we Our sales rep, Chris was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and even allowed us to take a longer test drive because we had an unusual request. We were able to get a great deal without much back and forth. This was our first EV and I had so many questions and Chris just continued to answer them without making me feel dumb. I highly recommend working with him. More
Chevrolet of Bend has a solid selection of trucks and a staff that is eager to help find a good fit. I had a terrible experience with one of their sales associates. He was rude, arrogant, and dismissive. I emailed their General Manger, General Sales Manager, Business Manger, and Used Car Manager two w associates. He was rude, arrogant, and dismissive. I emailed their General Manger, General Sales Manager, Business Manger, and Used Car Manager two weeks ago and no one has bothered to respond to me. I assume because we are somewhat geographically isolated in Central Oregon and the car shortages they have gotten a real rotten attitude. As the market is correcting they have overpriced cars that have been sitting on their lot for months. It is worth the drive to go out of the area to be treated with respect and get a fair deal. More
The correspondence with Bend Chevrolet was excellent. I requested information on a vehicle I was interested. They were prompt in letting me know the status of that vehicle. I requested information on a vehicle I was interested. They were prompt in letting me know the status of that vehicle. More
The Service department is unethical and the parts department is just flat evil. I got bit 2 times now and will never go back. The first one was a leaking radiator about a year ago. They gouged me abo department is just flat evil. I got bit 2 times now and will never go back. The first one was a leaking radiator about a year ago. They gouged me about 4 times more than I should have paid I found out later. Now, I got a quote for a transmission of $11,000. They charged me $189 for the diagnostic after my coupon which I was led to believe would save me more than the measly $10 they gave me. They had it all day and did not call me. I had to call them at the end of the day. I got a second opinion on the transmission and I am paying $6500 to have it replaced by Robirts in Redmond. Shane did the diagnosis for free. More
