Dear Dan, I'm sorry that you see my message as hurtful; however, I just relayed an accurate account of my experience. I do thank you for and accept your apology. Everything was going well with our experience with your dealership until you came into the picture regarding pricing. In fact, I purposely went back to your dealership after I had received price-guaranteed certificates from other dealerships to give you an opportunity to match the price. You chose not to, and basically told me that I was naive and not smart enough to know that I would never get the price listed. I had a great experience with the other salesmen and enjoyed our extended test drive prior to the "negotiation" of price with you. In the end, as I said in my review, I got a significantly better price on a new car than you were willing to sell me a demo for. The process was also no hassle and comfortable. Please consider modifying your attitude toward various car-buying services and their legitimacy. There's a reason people use them, and at least in my case it worked as it should. I realize that you were not a certified dealer under this program, so maybe it comes down to that, but I know that in trying to be loyal to your dealership and giving you an opportunity to match the pricing rather than just going with the other dealerships first, I just wasted my time and it ended in a bad experience. Thank you for your reply, once again I am sorry if I made you feel as though you were not be treated with respect, this was never my intention. you are correct in telling me that I should modify my approach to "car buying services" I need to let the customers know that we do not participate in all of them because they are all different. Some prices can be matched even if we are not in their program,. Some however rely on us 'averaging " our profits with other deals. As you can see, someoone comes way ahead and someone is going to come out way behind. We want our customers to become customers for life and this type of pricing approach does not convey that. I would like to ask if you would consider rewording your review so that you feel that you get your point across without being so hurtful. As i said before I have been selling cars for a long time, this is the first negative review I have received and it hurts. As you know in these times of social media our lives are under microscopes ad=nd I wouldn't like to have judged by 1 bad experience. Please respond Dan Troy
