Sales Mgr. - Joe brought even more to the table and was able to close the deal to our satisfaction. Even when a problem arose, it was dealt with in an efficient, cooperative fashion - to the complete satisfaction of the buyer. Would not hesitate to recommend this dealer and do ask for Nancy. More

We've never even had 1 problem with them, everyone in the service department is nice, friendly and helpful, and the work is done within a very reasonable time, even if we wait there for it to be done. They always answer the phone when we call. More

The problem was that the gas My story begins with a dilemma I occurred when moving to a new home. I had purchased a Nissan Armada and loved the truck. The problem was that the gas mileage was killing me as I moved an additional 40 miles away from work. I looked up the equinox and saw it was decent on mileage. I need a truck as I carry a load of equipment every day. I explained this to the salesmen and spoke of my urgency to save gas mileage. Here's where the problem begins: The Armada a mint condition truck was evaluated by Auto trader and other web based evaluation companies at $14,000. I thought by all the communication I had with the sales men they were offering me $12,000 I thought ok saves me the hassle of selling on my own. As the process progressed I also stated that I had money to put down to differ the upside down 4,000 I was on the Armada. Great lets do a deal... Now the equinox I wanted to purchase has a MSRP of $29,000. When I came back the next day thinking the deal was going be reasonable it certainly wasn't!!! first: The 12,000 dollar value for the Armada went down to $5,000 The Two thousand dollar down payment went from 2, to 5, to 7,000 in order for me to even be close to my number of High 300's a month. Bottom line I was foolish, I trusted that these people were doing the best they could for me and I signed the lease at $512/ month 48 months 15 thousand miles What was I thinking??? I needed a better gas mileage truck, they new it and I felt extremely rushed and pressured to do the deal. I excepted that I was scammed and went on with my business, It was a friend of mine that went into my glove compartment and saw the details of the deal that showed me how bad it really was. Think about this: A lease for a $28,879 car, $7000 down and absorbing a whopping $8,000 on my trade. Problem is the trade numbers are not listed on the paperwork!! Knowing now how foolish I was and how much I was taken for I went to the dealership. Know body wanted anything to do with me!! I would ask for the manager they threw me to a salesmen the managers busy, can I speak to someone in finance? sure The finance lady ( DONT KNOW HER NAME) was so unhelpful stating "im sorry sir but you did sign the deal" $512/ month is just a totally ridiculous number and with all the money I put down???? All that money went into several peoples pockets and the employees that benefitted are certainly very happy I came in the door and needed that truck. More

Don't roll the dice with Chevrolet of Smithtown. However frustrating and lengthy the process, I'm glad that the matter was finally resolved. Previous review: After our last service appointment, I will never trust Chevrolet of Smithtown with my car again and I warn you to do the same. I have been going to Chevrolet of Smithtown for routine maintenance for my Wife's brand new Chevrolet Spark for over a year without any incident. But during my last service appointment they damaged my car and it has been a nightmare dealing with customer service and now I’m left with a sizable repair bill. My Wife's Chevrolet Spark was recalled for a possible dangerous transmission malfunction. We brought it to Chevrolet of Smithtown for repair and over the month it waited around in the shop, a small chip in the windshield developed a large crack. After numerous efforts to resolve this matter directly, Chevrolet of Smithtown refuses to accept any responsibility for the damage. We dealt directly with Marianne Fasano and GM corporate and I have never been so frustrated or felt so helpless dealing with "customer support". After a week of phone calls my last and only option left was to go to small claims court, forcing me to waste even more time and present my case in front of a judge. I don’t know about you, but night court isn’t my idea of fun. I warn you, if you enjoy not wasting your free time and not having your car damaged, do not risk going to Chevrolet of Smithtown for service. More

Danny Chen, salesman, went above and beyond to make the sale happen. Danny worked with me and got me into a very nicely equipped vehicle with many more options than I thought I could fit into my budget. He also made sure I received very fair value for the two vehicles I was trading in. I would certainly recommend Danny and Chevrolet of Smithtown. I felt like I honestly received the best deal possible. For those of you considering a 2016 Suburban, it is an extremely nice ride and gets incredible gas mileage for its size! Great vehicle! More

With 3 other dealers within 10 miles of my home, I would not hesitate to make the 45 mile trip again when purchasing my next vehicle.
