Fantastic experience with Christopher's Dodge World. My old car was a total loss from a collision, and I needed a replacement. There was no pressure and much accomodation to my needs. Darrin allowed me to install my two carseats in the vehicle to see how they fit and to test drive the vehicle to my husband's work for him to check it out too. It was so hassle free! Financing was a breeze and they had all the paperwork ready to go on the day we purchased. Darrin even drove the van to our home for us once purchased. Our buying experience at Christopher's Dodge World has truly been exceptional. I'm sure our needs were initially quite a bit different from their "typical" new car buyer. We were specifically looking fo truly been exceptional. I'm sure our needs were initially quite a bit different from their "typical" new car buyer. We were specifically looking for a new vehicle to replace our 2000 Pontiac Sunfire GT that we have been using as a tow vehicle behind our motorhome for the past 12 years. We started with a list of 10 pages of every vehicle that is motorhome towable. We were able to come up with 24 types of vehicle that met our overall requirements of being towable with all four wheels down. We were able to reduce that list to 16 vehicles based favorable internet reviews of vehicle reliability. The remaining 16 vehicle were individually checked under multiple conditions for their level of electromagnetic (EMF) radiation for both the driver's seat and for the passengers (high EMF levels are suspected of increasing ones risk of cancer). We were disappointed to discover that our "favorite" vehicles all have high EMF ratings. The Dodge Caliber with a manual transmission had by far the lowest EMF levels of the vehicles that were tested. It was just by chance that we stopped by Christopher's Dodge World, it is just down the street from the Honda dealer and I needed to check the EMF levels for the Caliber. Doug Parker was quite understanding when I explained what I needed to check and he quickly found a vehicle to test. Once I determined that Caliber had a very low EMF level we faced our next challenge - could I shift the manual transmission with my artificial leg. Doug suggested that we take the Caliber SE for a test drive which went very well. Regretfully the SE model didn't include a tachometer which is rather important when driving a standard transmission. I found in the Dodge literature that the SXT Plus model includes a tachometer. I'm a 45 year member of USAA insurance and I initially sought to buy a Caliber through their certified dealer list. They provided three certified dealers with "best" pricing. Of course the best price was with a dealer that is a two hour drive from our home. I emailed Doug Parker the quotes that I had been given by USAA to see if he could match the USAA guaranteed price. He said that they would meet that price and save me the two hours drive to the other dealer. The USAA certified dealers were willing to give us the good price, but they didn't have the specific model and full color selection in stock like Christopher's Dodge did as shown on their websites inventory of vehicles. So we were able to get the vehicle that met our needs, in the color what we wanted and at a very good price. Closing the deal was very professional. Darrin Hall took over for Doug since I just dropped in and Doug was busy. Darrin handled all of the usual tasks of the final sale. There was no effort to sell us anything other that what we specifically wanted. We provided all of the usually final sale challenges which were dealt with easily and professionally. Additionally, Darrin help us secure the Chrysler's military service appreciation bonus since we are a retired Marine Corps family. Overall the sales team at Christopher's Dodge provided the best total buying experience that we have ever had. More
