Well excuse after excuse and two months later, I still don't have it and no one claims to know anything about it. I'll cut my salesman a break because he was sick in the hospital but he ordered the wrong part in the first place and every time he gives me an ETA I run over there wasting both my time and gas money and guess what, it's not there. If you choose to do business with them make sure you get everything in advance or else they employ selective amnesia and don't want to deal with you after the sale. We were going to buy another vehicle from them but instead are going to another dealer. Buyer beware More
My wife and I just purchased her new (used) car from Lyon Alizna at Dodge McKinney. Lyon was awesome. We called ahead to test drive the car, as my wife had never driven that make or model before. Lyon had Alizna at Dodge McKinney. Lyon was awesome. We called ahead to test drive the car, as my wife had never driven that make or model before. Lyon had the car out front, running, with the heater on (it was wicked cold that day) when we arrived. Within five minutes, we were test driving the car. Unlike most dealers, we were NOT being beaten up on price and payment information. Instead, Lyon focused on telling us about the car, what features it had, and answering our questions. He really wanted to make sure we enjoyed the experience, and leaned about the vehicle. As we were test driving many (too many for me!) cars that day to find the right one for my wife, Lyon did not try the old "what do I have to do to get you to drive this home today" spiel. Instead, he gave us his card, and asked us to give him a call if we had any questions, or could help us in any way. We were about 3/4 sold right there. The car was wonderful, and we felt at ease with Lyon. But, we did want to try out a few more cars so my wife could be sure. After a day of hitting far, far too many dealerships, test driving far too many cars, my wife ONLY wanted to deal with Lyon, and only wanted that car. So, we headed back to McKinney and bought from Lyon. I need to state that everyone we talked to was very, very helpful. One of the managers kept coming over and keeping us company while we waited for paperwork. The finance guy was very helpful, nice, and efficient, and when I was getting some of the coffee, and couldn't find the splenda (I can't have sugar), TWO salesmen asked me if I needed help, and dropped everything to find me a packed of sweet and low for my coffee. I mean seriously, I have been to many, many dealerships in my day, and the customer service at McKinney is top-notch. More

people are very friendly, as it is at any dealership. but the general manager or whoever was in charge that day in the used car lot just was a money hungry man with dollar signs in his eyes. i was stupid eno the general manager or whoever was in charge that day in the used car lot just was a money hungry man with dollar signs in his eyes. i was stupid enough to buy and am now, not even 6 months later trading in. i was ripped off in my trade and the although the vehicle i bought was in amazing condition, i was lied to about several features and gas mileage. I didn't know too much about car buying and they took advantage of me. I know this describes most car dealerships, but this one really topped it off. NOT RECOMMENDED. More
I had worked out a deal with one of the managers for a Town and Country with a trade-in. When I got there another manager took over the deal and said that I would have to pay $4,000 more than originally a Town and Country with a trade-in. When I got there another manager took over the deal and said that I would have to pay $4,000 more than originally agreed upon. More
I agree with all the other reviews, this dealership is poor poor poor on customer service. I bought a 2012 Avenger from them in May of last year. Like other reviewers have stated, it took almost 3 hours poor poor poor on customer service. I bought a 2012 Avenger from them in May of last year. Like other reviewers have stated, it took almost 3 hours to purchase the car, and I was paying cash! There was no one else in the dealership the evening I went in to purchase the car, but it still took forever for them to fill out the paper work. And, then, they filled it out incorrectly and over charged me by almost $300. I had to go back twice to get my refund check. Also, when I bought the car, they didn't want to give me both of the car keys, they said, "well, we wait until the financing clears". I reminded them, I just gave you a cashiers check for the price of the vehicle-- so give me my two keys. Another odd thing, when I test drove the car on a Monday, it had only 5 miles on it. When I went in to pick up the car on Wednesday, it suddenly had almost 200 miles on it. How does a new car get almost 200 miles put on it in less than 2 days? They couldn't answer how that had happened. The service department is another joke. They don't have free wifi, so good luck doing any work if you choose to wait for your car to be serviced. Second, they take forever and usually don't fix the problem you report. I have taken my car in twice now for the same problem and it has yet to be fixed. They claim they did the work, but it's obvious they didn't replace the window trim or the door seal. All of this after having the car for 4 days. I also need to state, that this is a new car still under warranty. I had to argue with the dealer for a loaner car while they serviced my vehicle. I will be taking the car to another Dodge dealer to see if they can correct the issue. More
I just bought a new Jeep at this dealership. I will not go back. It took 4 trips to finally get the purchase finished. They agreed to put power locks on my Jeep, but we have now discovered the power lock go back. It took 4 trips to finally get the purchase finished. They agreed to put power locks on my Jeep, but we have now discovered the power locks only control the front 4 doors, not the rear door. They had it done at an after market shop and did not tell us the rear door would not be included. When I called and asked my salesman about this, he said he "did not know and would have to check and call back." I still have not heard anything from him. The process of making the purchase took absolutely forever and no one ever seemed to have a clue what was going on. They always seemed to be moving in slow motion, no matter what. Every time we were there they said they would have the locks done next time we came in. The third time they said this, it actually happened. I love my Jeep, but the sour taste in my mouth from my experience with the dealership really took much of the joy out of getting a new car. More
We initially spoke with another salesman at this location, he passed us off to Phil Brady when a previous customer had returned. Not an issue since we had just arrived. Phil came on strong with so location, he passed us off to Phil Brady when a previous customer had returned. Not an issue since we had just arrived. Phil came on strong with some fast talking and lots of success stories. We were looking at 2 different vans. The first one did not have some options that we wanted (silver). The second had everything we wanted (white). The silver van had less miles and more options yet we were told they had the same price. We questioned this and the reply was that sometimes they get a better deal at later auctions and the lower mile vehicle had been on the lot less time. We told Phil right of the bat that we had to leave within a few hours. That didn't stop him from taking an hour before he was ready to leave for the test drive. As we got to the point of just 1 hour before we had to leave they were just finishing the appraisal of the trade, which was not started until after the test drive. While they worked on the test drive Phil checked the price of the white van we test drove and of course they had screwed up the price and it was really $2000 higher than previously mentioned, but they were very sorry for the error and wanted to be honest about it. (red flag #1) Of course they noticed a mechanical problem with our trade in vehicle which the mechanics who serviced it 3 days earlier and other dealerships who appraised it had somehow missed. (red flag #2) At this point they started pushing their financing options. I was pre approved at another bank and did not want to change. They were relentless though to the point of having B.J. the finance manager come out to tell me he uses the same bank and never takes a loan from them since he always beats their rates. After about 20 minutes they come out with their first offer. They had the trade higher than expected and did not have the price of the van listed, just the bottom line and payments. (Red Flag #3) Here they again pushed that their rates are better. I said that they are too high on price and they came back with a lower offer but not much. Since it was getting to late to close a deal, we had 3 red flags we left to get home and change. Since I had a little time I looked at there website to see what else they had available. They had the 2 we looked at and one other that was a different color (red) but the same options as the white van we wanted. The silver van was listed on the internet for $3000 less than they quoted us. The white van had no price listed. I called Phil to see what the deal was. I asked about the red one, he told me it was sold (lie #1), I then asked why the silver one was 3k cheaper than what they had told me and was told that they must of lowered the prices and not told the used car sales department (really a lie and a red flag). I got told the reason the red one was so cheap was because they had it on the lot for a while and needed to sell it. I was told they would honor the internet price for the silver van but needed to drop the trade value by 1K. He claimed they overvalued the trade since they screwed up the price of the white van. So after some back and forth over the phone haggling we agreed on 23,999 (this number is important for later) for the white vehicle and the original price on the trade. I was planning to come back that evening before they closed to close the deal. I then received a call from Phil asking for our SSN's. Since I was self financing I saw no need to give these numbers to them. He said they were needed for Texas Title and for satisfying Homeland Security requirements of the Patriot Act. Really never heard of that. Huge Red Flag with a funny guy in a clown car waving it while driving around a raging fire. I told him I do not give that information over the phone. I later said that I had a problem with the bank and would have to put the deal of till the next business day to clear it up with the bank. This gave me some time to do some research, I found the reviews on this site, and the lies they have told others. I found other similarly equipped vehicles for significantly lower prices and closer to home. I called the next day to find out if the red van was still available. I was told it was and they even verified it. I called Phil back and informed him that we would no longer be doing business with them and stated that I do not by vehicles from dishonest sales staff. I then received a call from Byron, the sales manager. He gave me the song and dance that the internet department did not know the red van was sold. He said that the communication is poor and that they are constantly having issues with them. I told him just the same I do not want to do business with a group of people who can not keep track of what is going on either. He was persistent that he wanted to earn back my business so I made an outrageous counter offer that would be 10k of the original offer they made me for the van. He told me he would think about it and get back to me. I got a call from Phil about 30 minutes later. He did not know what I discussed with Byron, but wanted to let me know the internet department is constantly giving out false information and they have to sweet talk the customers to make up for the damage. He really wanted to get my business since he has been doing this a long time and never lies to a customer. He could not do any thing about the trade since it was only worth what it was worth so he would give me the trade for the full 7k and he would come down from 24,999 to 23,999 on the white van. I tell you that is a great sales man that is so thoughtful to offer the original offer that we agreed on to me and say we can do this and no one will make any money. What a class act he is. Do not let the free extended bumper to bumper warranty fool you, these guys will push that to keep you interested while they lie and cheat you on the other side. More
I came from a bad experience at the Nissan dealership next door and happened to stumble into this dealership hoping to have a better experience. Donny Mac was my salesperson and was friendly and knowledg next door and happened to stumble into this dealership hoping to have a better experience. Donny Mac was my salesperson and was friendly and knowledgeable. He had the typical "salesman" approach, but was more relaxed personally than other salesmen I've interacted with. His manager, Shaun, was beyond friendly and was fair with his price for my "new" used car. Seeing as how this was my first car to purchase, I wanted to make sure I received a good deal. Both Donnie and Shaun were patient and understanding of my concerns. Overall, I am very pleased with this dealership and would HIGHLY recommend! More
These guys will pull every trick in the book. The probably need to fire the guy who puts the prices of cars online since he can't seem to put them in right. I bought a 2007 Lexus for 20,899, wish app probably need to fire the guy who puts the prices of cars online since he can't seem to put them in right. I bought a 2007 Lexus for 20,899, wish apparently was much lower than what they wanted to ask but "graciously" honored the price when I was able to show a screen grab with the price clearly listed. I was shown the "lifetime warranty" wish apparently is not available on cars with 80000 or more miles (this Lexus had 80003 so I can imagine one of the guys driving it around to be sure to push it over.) I bought the car even with the red flags and now I'm paying for it in repairs. If you deal with these guys, be smarter than I was...they will take advantage. More
