The n I brought my 2020 Ranger in because of a noise underneath my cab. When your mechanic test drove my truck it didn’t make any noise. Naturally! The noise is intermittent and at times it’s unbelievably loud.. I read on line some of the causes of this noise. I checked my brakes, driveshaft universal joints and driveshaft bearing. The brakes were fine. The driveshaft universal joints bearings were fine. The driveshaft bearing made the noise when I repositioned the yoke the bearing sits in. I think the driveshaft bearing is the problem. I’m very aware of bearing noise in machinery. I worked on copiers and they had intermittent bearing noises. We had a procedure for isolating noise and which bearings to replace. I recommend Ford engineers come up with this type procedure. More
