I had to drive in the loaner car back to the dealership last Saturday just to talk to the general manager to try and rachet up the heat on Subaru to resolve the issue. More

The service ultimately was very satisfactory, but reaching the Service Department by phone can be difficult. I had questions about warranty coverage and a loaner car, and was passed around to two or reaching the Service Department by phone can be difficult. I had questions about warranty coverage and a loaner car, and was passed around to two or three different "Advisors" who were not in touch with each other and did not provide reliable information. One assured me that a loaner would be provided, but I was told on arrival that none was available. That turned out not to matter much because, although I had an appointment for a windshield replacement, I was told on arrival that I would have to come back another time because the person who does that work was not there that day. A wasted trip. Once I was there in person, I was able to make arrangements for service on another day, and everything went well from that point on, but telephone communications seriously need improvement. On a previous occasion, I had trouble reaching the Service Department by phone. No one took the call and voice messages were not returned. More
