Let me preface by saying the GM found a resolution and the interaction ended okay, but, I bought a 2024 Ascent with the LED upgrade and all but two interior lights were NOT LED. The first time I drove it the interaction ended okay, but, I bought a 2024 Ascent with the LED upgrade and all but two interior lights were NOT LED. The first time I drove it in the dark after buying, I realized and brought it back for service. First they told me there was a nation wide back order on my parts. Then they told me the yellowish lights “are LED” it just “didn’t look like it” because they aren’t the bright white LEDs that they normally use. Then they told me it was a manufacturer error and there’s nothing they can do about it. When I insisted I wanted to either receive the bright white LED upgrade package that I purchased as it is described on Subaru’s website or to be reimbursed monetarily for the package I purchased and didn’t receive I was shuffled from person to person (some helpful - some rude or useless), and eventually made our way up to the top. The GM came to a resolution and got me the upgrade package but by using 2023 parts, which was fine as long as it was still covered under the warranty. The biggest issue for me was the lying. More
