Good service department, bad waiting room My family members and I have been bringing our four cars to City Ford and Chevy for service for several years, and have been pleased. The work is don My family members and I have been bringing our four cars to City Ford and Chevy for service for several years, and have been pleased. The work is done quickly without rushing, at a fair price. They also dont try to push services you are not interested in, and they take care not to soil or damage the cars. My only complaint is recent; I opted to not wait in the Ford Service waiting room, and instead used the courtesy shuttle both ways, because they have removed TV and replaced it with an excruciatingly repetitive ad display. The formerly full waiting room of happy conversationalists was completely empty, and it didnt take me but a few minutes to realize why. I asked to be taken back to work, rather than watch the same info over and over, and another woman did the same, saying, "I was looking forward to watching HGTV while I waited." Not sure eliminating TV/cable is saving any money, due to increased shuttle costs for multiple customers a day, and it certainly is not making customers happy. Bring back the TV please! More

They do unneeded work My brakes were jumping on my 150 Ford. They told me I needed new rotors since a front toe was broken at a cost of $1400. I told them I wanted the old My brakes were jumping on my 150 Ford. They told me I needed new rotors since a front toe was broken at a cost of $1400. I told them I wanted the old rotors before they even started the work. I came to pick up the truck as they were rolling it out of the garage. When I requested the old rotors they gave me the back ones and said the broken front rotors had been discarded and could not be retrieved. I took the back rotors to another mechanic who showed me the measurement on them and said they definitely did NOT need changed. I do not know if the front rotor was really broken but I do know the back ones did not need changed. When I talked to the manager he promised to send me a store credit of $250.00. As of yet I have NOT received the promise credit. More
