Make sure to bring the car to a mechanic before purchase The sales team and the General Manager are really nice. I am not putting down this dealership at all, they really mean well. I only want to help arm someone who wishes to purchase a car from this dealership. If buying their "wheels and Key" warranty, make sure that they give you two working keys. After being told by the salesman that even though I was given one key, I will be able to receive a second key 30 days after purchase with the warranty and that "it pays for itself", this only works if you lie to the company and tell them that you had received two keys when you purchased the car. Make sure to bring a mechanic with you when you purchase a vehicle here, as their mechanic only checks to ensure that the car is "safe to drive", but not the general functionality of the vehicle. Even if the sales team tells you that the vehicle was fully checked out by a mechanic, as per my discussion with the General Manager this only means it is safe to drive. Unfortunately, I only found this out after purchasing my car. I had to take the car to a mechanic three days after I purchased it. A new filter had to be put in. The brakes were rusty (but still safe to drive) and sounded like nails on a chalkboard when braking. It happens on and off so I never noticed this on my test drive. The part that causes the AWD to function properly also had to be replaced as it was causing the car to burn double the gas and I could feel the car shifting gears (but it was safe to drive without replacing it). Also, when purchasing a vehicle, make sure to discuss what they mean when they say they will put a front license plate onto the car. Apparently, some customers prefer not to put their front license plate on (even though it is required in Illinois) and if you purchase a non-VW car, they may not put a front license on it. I spoke to the General Manager, and he kindly let me know, that he understands my frustration, but putting the front license plate on some luxury vehicles may need some extra parts which I should order online, and wasn't part of the deal. He was very professional but also very honest about my concerns and questions, as to not just trying to sell me a car and call it a day. Yes, it is their job to sell a car but Mike, Andre and Kissy were up front about my questions and gave me their own honest input. Most dealers just try to get you into any car regardless of your concerns and what you're looking for. I was pleasantly surprised that it was not the case with them. This was my second time buying a vehicle from this dealership and I'm glad to see a huge improvement from the first time I bought my first vehicle from them. They were all super attentive and brought out every car I was interested in regardless if it was a burden or annoying after bringing out several. I hope when I return in the future, they are all still there because the three were awesome. Mike went above and beyond to give me a great deal. Andre was super nice and attentive and gave me his undivided attention. By the time I was about to leave the dealership, I was actually not in a rush but Kissy (who was super personable) kept it in mind and had my paperwork all ready for me (correctly & in order) and I was out the door in a very reasonable amount of time. These three are great and I hope to deal with them in the future! Great service and great experience for me! P.S. Mike got me the vehicle I specifically wanted with all the bells and whistles for a great deal!! Extremely happy client. More

He explained and showed me everything I needed to know and answered all of my questions. Another person that was also super nice and helpful was Claudio. Thanks to them this was by far the best car buying experience ever! The dealership itself was very clean and nice looking. Overall I feel like they have a good VW se This was my first experience at a dealership, as this was my first time buying a car I planned to finance. Overall I feel like they have a good VW selection. The salesman was very nice, as I assume all of them are so they can make their sales. I did feel very pressured into purchasing the car and extremely rushed through the paperwork. She just handed me paper after paper only telling me to sign here, sign here, very quickly one after the other. I ended up having a bunch of additional costs added to my contract this way. I had some sort of Allstate Insurance added, as well as a bunch of different packages I normally would never have been interested. I do take a partial responsibility as I should have read everything I was being handed more clearly, but I did talk to a woman from the finance department a few weeks later and she said that although I should have read what I was signing, the woman I was dealing with should have made it clear in some way, the charges I was adding, which she in no way did. I ended up with about $5,000 added to my finance charges because of these bogus packages. Essentially, I just want to let anyone who is planning on coming to this dealer (as well as probably any one) to really read and ask questions about anything you are wondering, regardless of possibly feeling uncomfortable or being annoying, as this is your hard earned money you are spending. Believe what you are signing and reading vs what they are telling you, as obvious as that seems, we are sometimes way too excited to get that new car, or first car that we just want to grab the keys and enjoy our new car, but these people are here to make their commission and do not have your best interest in mind. It was a xxxxty first car dealer experience, but definitely a good lesson learned to have on future encounters at dealerships. More
