A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, David Wilson has been involved in the automobile industry for nearly 40 years. He was vice president and general manager of Covey Lincoln Mercury in Phoenix, Arizona, for five years before coming to Toyota of Orange in 1982. Before buying out the owner of Toyota of Orange in 1985, he was the vice president and general manager. Mr. Wilson is now the owner and president of sixteen automobile dealerships - employing nearly 2000 people. I’ve been going there for service on my past Toyotas and current Toyota Tacoma. This is my first time having Toyota Care on my vehicle. I will say that Kevin is great as an advisor. However, I’m a little current Toyota Tacoma. This is my first time having Toyota Care on my vehicle. I will say that Kevin is great as an advisor. However, I’m a little annoyed (the reason for the 3 stars) in that I just learned that on my first trip to Claremont for service on this truck (Oscar Vergara was the service advisor), an oil change was not done. When scheduling my appointment online, I always select the Claremont Toyota factory recommendation service for the mileage interval, which includes an oil change. I was not told that they were only going to perform the Toyota Care and that it didn’t include an oil change or I would’ve paid for one, which I did during this service. The first oil change is important as you want to get rid of shavings or any debris from the engine breaking in. More
