Scott was very knowledgeable about the cars on the lot, and did not pressure us in any way. Scott is also upbeat and personable. Everyone we encountered throughout the process was easy to work with. One was the way I treated when I bought my 1st and 2nd cars, 9 and 10 years ago, respectively. The other reason was the service department at Classic. Bill King, the service manager, and Jerry, Steve, and Adam have always dealt with me in a professional and friendly manner. Jim Hudson, the General Sales Manager, made the most recent purchase a very pleasant experience. He truly went the extra mile to ensure I was a happy customer. When I picked up the car, Leo Katsmelson, salesman, was very helpful in showing how various things worked in the car. He even connected my phone to the Blue Tooth, so that I could answer the phone hands-free without having to try to figure it out by myself. It was also a pleasant experience dealing with Mark Sadacca, Finance Manager. He is very organized and efficient, which ensured paperwork was completed in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Classic Toyota to anyone who is interested in buying a new Toyota. They truly are the “friendliest place in town.” More

After a test drive of a couple miles on city streets, I asked if we could take it up to highway speeds to evaluate handling and riding comfort. Kevin readily agreed and we took it for a ride! We ended up purchasing the vehicle that evening, and Classic Toyota kept their team after 9 PM to finish up the deal and do a final clean-up and inspection on the car - they even filled it up with a full tank of gas! Also, even though it was close to 9:30 PM, another Classic Toyota associate who was familiar with the vehicle stayed to show us some of the operating features, and even went the extra mile to pair my iPhone and contacts with the Bluetooth enabled system. That is what I call outstanding service: a fair deal, quick and responsive! Justin M. -Mundelein More
They don't follow Toyota's own requirements We purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. It was an AWD that had 3 run flat tires that needed to be replaced and ONE brand new tire NOT a run flat that they had put on the vehicle. Everyone knows you cannot mix tires like that. They would not replace the tires or even just make two pairs match. Why would a Toyota dealership not follow their own requirements. Even the Toyota dealership we took it too as well as the Tire shop could not believe a dealership that manufactures the car would do something like that. There were alot of scratching of heads. I would not do business with them in the future. Just a note: Make sure you get 2 keys and 2 remotes or you will pay out your ear if Ace hardware can't do it and for heaven's sake - check all tires before you agree to purchase a vehicle from them. They could leave you in an extremely dangerous situation. Also they supposedly drained all liquids in the vehicle, but then forgot to refill the coolant. Glad I noticed and am back in our neck of the woods to have our new purchase serviced at a Toyota dealership who truly cares about its customers and want to keep them coming back. * The sales person we worked - Scott R - with was great, yet had his hands tied behind his back by those who hide behind the scenes and don't/won't face the customer. Like Family I have a very interesting relationship with car dealerships as a whole, I don't like them and they don't like me. I have always felt its like trying I have a very interesting relationship with car dealerships as a whole, I don't like them and they don't like me. I have always felt its like trying to talk to Sinatra about maybe seeing it my way for a change. Then Classic Toyota comes along like a spring breeze in the middle of winter carrying with it the fresh fragrance of daffodils and lilacs, blue sky and temperatures you are not talking about every time you step outside. The popcorn is fresh, the coffee delicious and water filtered, what more could a guy as for in the first 4 1/2 minutes of walking through the door. Well, instead of feeling like you just walked into a beehive, like most dealerships, trying to figure out how not to get dipped in honey and stung before escaping with your life, Classic is CLASSY right down to their nameplates and polished shoes. Not a bad apple in the bunch, I have never experience a group people who not only know about the cars they sale, "oh, yes this has 250 hp, blah, blah." but genuinely wanted to get to know me as a person first, it was like I was some long lost brother they hadn't seen in 20 years. How is the wife and kids, the vacation we took last summer, how's your golf game, hey lets go out and hit a few sometime. I can see why people have been working here for 15 years, and buying cars here for 15 years, its family! So, what you say? What about buying a car here? Well, they asked me what I really wanted to buy, I told them what I wanted. Answer, we'll find it for you, period, it wasn't even a Toyota. Two days later I got a call, "you want to come over and take a look?" Stunned is putting mildly. Next was signing the line. Most times when it comes to meeting with the finance department, you would rather run through a field of thistles. Not here, they make all the paperwork seem as effortless as sitting on the beach and getting a tan. To seal the deal as I was walking out the door with the keys in my hand, Mr. J was standing there looking at my wheels and asked, "first time here?" "No, actually my 2nd and I don't think I will every look at another place every again." I said. He smiled, "I've been buying cars here for 20 years... you play golf?" My hats off to Jim Hudson, Mark Andrews, Mark Saddaca, Leo in sales, Adam in Service, and the rest of the lot, no pun intended! More
