Buying a car here is a long, drawn out process. The sales staff is inexperienced. Managers are helpful but stretched thin. You will wait for hours for forms, keys, and any processing that you may need. If you are lucky, you will get it done in one day (3-6 hours). Unfortunately, I had to make several trips to complete the transaction. We purchased a used car for our daughter, and after only a month, she has already had to replace a tire. The tire that was replaced had two rusted nails that had been there for a long time (according to the tech who changed her tire). This should have been caught during the inspection process! Thank goodness she did not have an accident because of it. I do not feel confident that they truly inspect the used cars here. This is the third time we have purchased a car with Clay Cooley and we probably will not purchase here again. More

Front LED light (aesthetic value only--not safety required) was out (quite obvious by just looking at it) on our 2021 VW Atlas--shortly after warranty period. Service charged us $200+ to "diagnose" t required) was out (quite obvious by just looking at it) on our 2021 VW Atlas--shortly after warranty period. Service charged us $200+ to "diagnose" the "obvious" (light not working!). Then said that entire front headlamp component had to be replaced even though rest of headlight lamps in the component were working. Cost =$3000. Brilliant German engineering where a small decorative LED failed but entire headlamp component had to be replaced plus a charge of $200 to diagnose the obvious. Would not recommend this dealer (plus it took ridiculous amount of time for the "diagnosis." We can live with the LED not working since it is only decorative. Plus, we never received a response from the dealership to our complaint letter More
