I originally went to Suntrup Hyundai in South County to look at the new 2012 Elantras, but was not thrilled with the salesmen or the general attitude of the place. It took 15 minutes for someone to even as look at the new 2012 Elantras, but was not thrilled with the salesmen or the general attitude of the place. It took 15 minutes for someone to even ask if i had been helped yet. My cousin then referred me to the Suntrup Hyundai in Wentzville, and although the drive from my residence was almost 45 minutes it was totally worth it! I spoke to salesman Curt Maier on the phone earlier that day, and he spoke to me about the Elantra's currently for sale. When arriving there, he was quick to greet me and we together looked over the car and gave many details about it. I had a estimated number in my head of how much i was willing to spend for the car, and after minor deliberation, we had agreed upon purchase. Unfortunately, it was somewhat late in the day and the finance manager had already left, so we could not complete the sale that evening. He still let me take the car home and come back the next day to finalize the sale. Both Curt and Jason, the finance manager, were very helpful in purchasing my first new vehicle and at a great price. I now drive an amazing car that comes from an excellent dealership in customer service and meeting the needs of their customers. There could not have POSSIBLY been a better car-buying experience than the one I received at Suntrup Hyundai in Wentzville. I'm 22 and I'm new to all the legal "mumbo jumbo" that comes with buying a car. Larry Persons and the rest of the Suntrup Hyundai crew made it a painless experience. Larry was quick to greet my mother and I as soon as we stepped out of our car. I decided to go with a Hyundai Veloster, a brand new model, and these awesome folks at Suntrup Hyundai got the perfect model with the exact color I wanted shipped all the way from Iowa (I believe)! Dedication, I appreciate that! It's everything I asked for, they tracked it down, and got it to me in a matter of a few days. Larry described to me perfectly why not to be afraid of leasing, and why it could be a great option for a young buyer like me. We ended up going with a lease so that was really awesome to see that I did not have to buy if I did not care to. As for Larry himself, what a great guy! Funny, knowledgeable, down to earth, and willing to talk straight with you. I was getting my windows tinted on my new Veloster and Larry gave me a 2010 Accent to drive around while my Veloster was in the shop. Amazing! There is no doubt in my mind that I would recommend this dealership to any interested buyer.
