We’ll what we thought was an amazing buy and find turned out to be a nightmare. We thought our salesman was very helpful and there to assist and once the deal was finalized turns out we were just another pa out to be a nightmare. We bought a car last Saturday and drove off the lot realizing the vehicle already needed servicing and was still placed in the lot for sale defective. We fought from Wednesday to Friday trying to get it in to Hyundai Wentzville service and they refused to see us because we “just bought the car and it originally was serviced at the bridgeton service station”. After fighting and being told we’d have to still wait and no loaner car would be provided and a wait time of TBD to get out car back was determined. Our salesman after trying to get help ended our conversation with “you could ask to talk to a manager. That’s all I got.” So instead I drove 40 minutes plus to bridgeton myself, walked in and explained the situation and they contacted our salesmen all for it to be covered as a misunderstanding. Needless to say, I sat from 12:45 to 4:30 waiting for our car owned less than a week to be seen, serviced, and fixed as it should have been before it was even sold. Better yet, the whole time I’m waiting the crew was talking about not touching the vehicle because they had to wait for management to approve fixing it. Seriously? I can say 100% that we will never buy another car from Clement again and will only use their services for the sake of keeping our warranty. The only helpful servicemen were Logan, Connor, and Tiedje who worked as fast as they could once they got approval to fix the car and make sure it was actually ready to go and free of charge. I think what really ticks me off is our salesman said that the Wentzville service department thought it was just the car needing a new battery and instead I had to drive 40 minutes plus and leave work to go have it looked at all to find out…… it needed a new battery….. and yet Wentzville refused to see me. Again, love the car and thankful we found it but we will not ever buy here again and probably could of avoided all of this if Clement Hyundai in Wentzville would have been more willing to work with us and our vehicle that had been owned less than 6 days. More
Kyle was new and didn’t know much about the car or offers. Didn’t get offered the zero% deal. Car was also listed less that I paid on their website. Have always used since the purchase of my car. Since I had a similar problem with this model car, thought they should have covered a less expensive price to fix. My car has had a small oil leak for years and was told it was an aging car. Not a mechanic, but feel it was related to costly fix and maybe it would have been cheaper if caught earlier. Maybe the brakes having to be pushed to the floor all theses years could have been fixed long ago also. More
