I purchased a Ford Focus in Februaury, soon after it began to leak water, I took it to service, they made a repair but it continued to leak. I returned it and they had it for a week, when I picked up my began to leak water, I took it to service, they made a repair but it continued to leak. I returned it and they had it for a week, when I picked up my car, while drving back to work, I noticed a gap between the windshield and the roof of the car and some black hard goop at the top of the windshield, I called service and was told to return my car. I told them I had already taken a lot of time off work and that I would have to get back. We did not have any rain for a long time and had an extreme heat wave. During the heat wave the black goop starting oozing out of the side of the windshield and it started leaking again. I called Ford, arranged to bring my car back on a Thursday. On the Wed before I was to take my car in, a huge truck passed me slung a rock and hit my windshield. I immediately called Ford the following morning. Robert in service had broken his collar bone and was out, so I spoke with the guy filling in for him. He told me I was on my own, I gave up on Ford and called Safelite, made an appt to take my car in to have the windshield replaced. I called Safelite because Robert had mentioned that they had called Safelite in when they had my car for a week on the last repair attempt. Safelite replaced my windshield,they found where a seal needed to be replaced and said most likely is where the leak was coming from. I paid $282 dollars and I left with my car, windshield fitting flush against the roof of the car and no black goop and not leaking. Within a few days, I received a survey from Safelite, while I said I was satisfied with the result, I went into detail about the ordeal with the leaking from the windshield. Shorlty after completing the survey, I received a call from Safelite asking for more detail, once I explained what happened, he said, he felt like I should not have to pay for the windshield to be replaced. He found in his records where Safelite had assisted Ford with the earlier repair attempt. He refunded my money, Safelite, not Ford refuneded my money. They did not throw the rock and they are not the company that used the black goop, (according to your service dept, it was a company they are no longer using)however they saw how I was left out in the cold by my dealer and stepped up. My purchase of the Ford Focus was not that significant for Larry Hill Ford. However the integrity of my good opinion is significant to a lot of people and I have and will tell everyone I know that Larry Hill Ford's bottom line is to sell, sell, sell, who cares what they sell you! Safelite will always have my support. Other than my opinion about the dealership, I appreciated the way Jason White my saleman went out of his way to help me when purchsing the car. Also, while Robert in service was very nice, I wish there had been more responsibility taken by your service department to fix my car correctly the first time or the second time they had the opportunity. Lastly, I wrote Mr Hill a letter describing all of the above within days of the occurence, I never heard back from him. More

I came into Larry Hill to look for a new truck from Chattanooga because of the great things that I have heard about the dealership in the past and ended up buying a New 2012 F150. Eric was great to wor Chattanooga because of the great things that I have heard about the dealership in the past and ended up buying a New 2012 F150. Eric was great to work with, was very helpful and listened to my needs. He made me feel very comfortable through the entire process of selecting and purchasing the truck that is right for me. The day after buying my new truck I got a nail in the side wall of my tire from the road on one of my construction sites. I came to the service department expecting to have to buy a new tire but to my surprise and delight Service Consultant Shelia Shannon and Eric arranged for me to get the tire replaced for free. The service department took a tire off another new truck and put it on my truck on a Saturday so that I would not have to wait until monday for a new tire to be delivered. They were concerned with fixing my issue and not with the additional work this caused for them. I could not ask for better service. Larry Hill Ford, Shelia Shannon and Eric Hill far exceeded my expectations. I will be back for my next purchase and will recommend them to friends and family looking for vehicles in the future. More
