Beware of the PERMAPLATE sealant scam...it is ALREADY APPLIEto all of their vehicles already!- even though you will be led to believe if you purchase it, they are applying it afterwards. I was ALSO suckered into believing the security etching was a value to help lower my insurance, but it does not after checking. Etching that puts the VIN on the glass only is basically worthless, and a gimmicky car dealer upsell. There are way to etch the VIN on major components of the car, but the dealership has never replied to my multiple questions requesting what parts other than glass would be etched. In fact, the service department was supposed to do this etching after we bought the car (and had gone to lunch to allow them to "apply the PERMAMPLATE" and etch the VIN) but it was never done even though they kept the car for an hour, and multiple promises to have etch done after we left have gone unfulfilled, I have since requested a full refund for the process, but still no response. Very please will the purchase process of the car prior to the actually financing, afterwards everything went downhill, sadly. More
