My wife and I were considering a newer car to use for short trips and to trailer behind our motorhome for use while on vacation camping trips. On a Sunday afternoon, we were silent shopping (most dealerships are closed) to narrow down the selection without any high pressure sales person breathing down our necks... been down that road. Well, to make a long story short, to our good fortune we stopped by Larry Hill Imports in Cleavland, TN. The sales team was there but we decided to stop anyway because of the large selection. We browsed for a short while before the "dreaded salesman" showed up. Fortunately in was Reggie Johnson's smiling face. No high pressure but an oustanding hustle getting keys for the cars we considered. Reggie asked what we were looking for in a newer car and only showed us what we wanted. He made us very comfortable and turned a couple of "lookers" into happy buyers in a very short time frame, with no pressure... very good salesperson! I deal with the public myself managing a sales staff. I do not think we would have made the purchase that Sunday afternoon if Reggie had not been the person he was. His sales manager was a very nice fellow as well. I was reasonable, they were reasonable and a reasonable deal was made. My only regret was that our car only came with one "smart key". I would have negociated another key or chose a different vehicle had I known then what I know now about VW smart keys. Otherwise, no problems with the deal or the experience. LOVE THE CAR! Anthony B. We were only going to test drive the Escape after checking it out online and after driving a few other vehicles at other dealerships. John told us up-front that he was new to the car business, but he was personable and easygoing, and we liked him right away. It took several hours (4) to complete the trade-in and sale but John and James stayed with us the entire time. Last Wednesday I decided I'd drive through Cleveland & swoop through the dealerships off exit 20. I had over 155,000 miles on my car, so I have been seriously shopping for a new car for the past couple of weeks. Of all the dealerships in the area Larry Hill had the most vast selection of new & used cars. I parked & was approached by Charles M., Salesmen. I told him what I wanted, but also my concerns, monthly payment range, etc. etc. etc.. & low and behold, we came across my new car! :D I didnt buy that evening. & guess what, I didnt feel any pressure to "buy buy buy right then & there". I went home & actually got onto Larry Hill Ford's website & submitted an application for financing. Mainly to see if I'd approve. I was contacted the very next morning & asked to come in. I test drove the car again. *I DEFINETLY ENCOURAGE YOU to let Larry Hill do all the financing for you! Mike B., Finance manager, made it soo easy on my grandfather & I. He did all the work! We didnt have to lift a finger & sit with bank after bank to try to fight for terms/interest rates. It's so easy to jump on the judgement bandwagon that car dealerships rip you off, & Salesmens are crooked.. I'm sure some are! Do they want your money? Duhhh! :) But at Larry Hill they want your service! They want your approval, because it is then they know you will 1. come back & 2. refer others. Larry Hill truly APPRECIATES your business. They will be honest with you with all the intergrity they have. They will tell you, "Hey, it's the end of the month! We got quota to meet!" It helps them, & you drive off happy & worry-free with your new car.. plus all the other special packages Larry Hill gives you for just being a valued customer! :) Still wonder if they appreciate you? After a long day of searching in our area, we were unable to find a truck within our credit limit. We were feeling very disappointed and discouraged. My husband James, is a very giving and unselfished man,he works on the average 80 hours every week just to help us make ends meet. We had looked all day at the buy here-pay here lots because we knew we couldn't afford the payments of a new auto within our credit limit. Every auto we test drove just wasn't doing it for us. So we remembered the Larry Hill advertistments and decided to drive to Cleveland to look. Upon arriving we met a sales rep. named Jason Smith. My husband James felt very confortable with him has he looked and test drove different trucks. The first truck we drove was not within our credit limit. Instead of sending us along our way, Jason feeling as disappointed as us, keep trying to find other trucks that my husband could drive and pay for within our credit limit. He and the credit department worked late into closing and past closing that night to serve us and to allow us to leave with a pick up truck that my husband James is very proud to drive.
