Made getting my new Truck easy and fun I found a truck on car gurus and requested info from the dealer. I was lucky enough to get Brad Doty as a point of contact. I worked out a time to come and drive it with Brad after work. He took me on a drive that hit every check mark you could want in a test drive. Highway, back road, curves, speed, and even a U turn. While I was driving he gave me all the info on the truck, the process to get it, and the Lifetime Powertrain warranty!!! Needless to say I was sold. But I could t get my wife in until the next day to get paperwork done. Brad came in on his day off and spent the whole day getting everything ready for me, so everything would run smoothly and I could get on the road. Amazing experience with a great guy. I walked in with a spreadsheet documenting what I thought my optimal deal should be, and the transaction was within $200 of my estimate that included TN sales taxes. Elliott reaches out to me by email within a few minutes of building my Mustang on Ford’s website, and he called me the morning my car arrived, texting pictures of it for me since I was in Oregon when it arrived. Confident Purchase Got a great deal on my '17 Toyota Corolla. It was the second cheapest car in its class in my area (as well as within 80 miles), plus it had a lifetime Got a great deal on my '17 Toyota Corolla. It was the second cheapest car in its class in my area (as well as within 80 miles), plus it had a lifetime powertrain warranty included in the price. Cleveland Ford actually lowered their price twice for me, once as a courtesy and once again when the cheapest car in my area went down in price as well. The manager, Rob Stence, argued that his vehicle was worth about $2,000 more than that car for only like $300 difference in price, but he still came down a little for me - thanks, Rob! I enjoyed working with my salesman, John Yow. He explained how Cleveland Ford offers low competitive prices so that while they make less profit per car, they sell more vehicles per month. And he reasoned that because of the lifetime warranty they include on their used cars, they don't gain anything by selling cars in less than peak condition. He patiently answered my questions about how the warranty works, both before and after my purchase. And when I realized I hadn't left much time for paperwork before I had to leave for work, he and Jay Patel in finance stepped it into high gear for me, quickly taking my info and succinctly explaining each thing I needed to sign. Then Brad Doty (my sales person), Kevin Flowers (finance) and Bethany Stewart (Internet sales) hit all the right notes. No pressure. No bait-and-switch. The final price was even better than what was on the Internet. It was about as quick painless an experience as I've had in many years of car-buying. I drove about 60 miles to Cleveland, and it was worth it. More
