Got the battery replaced just as I wanted. Did NOT like the reason given to me about why the battery was replaced. I was told the battery was undersized for the car. A car should NOT be sold with an undersized battery. I talked to Mike D. about it and what I thought about it. I also called the 800 number for Subaru Service and told them what I thought. I disagree with the words " Replaced the battery as a ' one time good will gesture from Subaru'. They put the battery in the car! Fixing some thing that was wrong in the first place is not a "good will gesture". I had to get the car jumped to get to the garage. It was the coldest say in 25 years with a deadly wind chill. The roads were in poor condition from a previous snowfall. I took over 2 hours out of my day to get something fixed that shouldn't have needed fixing. If I had an accident or was injured in some way during that time, Subaru would have needed more than a "good will gesture" to deal with. This small example put doubts in my head about Subaru. What else did they skimp on? Are my tires right for this area? Do I have what I need in my car to get though one of our winters. Will something go wrong in summer? I got an e-mail today saying one of my tires pressure is low. It does not show up on my info in the car. Who do I believe? I believe that this was not the fault of anyone at your shop, but you need to be aware of it. Plus, the driver's side sun visor squawks when I switch it towards the door. I demonstrated it and it squawked loudly. I asked for it to be taken care of. It still squawks. More
