I took my 2013 Ford Flex AWD EB in for a factory recall on the rear toe link. I could not pick my vehicle up until the next day. I arrived early this morning and to my surprise I find that they left my ve on the rear toe link. I could not pick my vehicle up until the next day. I arrived early this morning and to my surprise I find that they left my vehicle UNLOCKED overnight with the key fob inside. I called to speak to the service manager and got no apology, only, "I will have to check with the technician who worked on your vehicle.". This service manager could not have been more smug or uncaring. I made a comment of "someone could have stolen my vehicle last night or gotten under the hood and tampered with it" His reply, "Well thank goodness they didn't". I can't make this stuff up. Now my vehicle is throwing a code of 'low engine oil pressure', not even a mile from the the dealership. It has never thrown a code like this before....now, I have all kinds of beeping going on. Do yourself a favor and do not take your vehicle to cloninger Ford. Take it to an independent auto repair place. I do not, I repeat do not recommend taking any vehicle to cloninger Ford. . More
There service department sucks. They charge you out rigorous prices. And still doing the same thing only worse. And want to charge more money. I had a very bad experience with Cloninger Ford in the past and was reluctant to even venture back there. But from the telephone conversation to schedule an appointment to the moment they told me the bad past and was reluctant to even venture back there. Service is not fast. Not cheap. Not very good. No one seems to give a s***. Staff is dressed like high schoolers. No sense of urgency to get your car serviced quickly and returned to you. The best advice I could give this dealership is try Hendricks dealerships and see what you are missing. There is no comparison in the customer experience! While you may not be able to duplicate the Hendricks experience you could certainly make improvements. I am surprised Ford would tolerate such sorry effort. More
