Worked with the internet team in advance and had a good idea of what the pricing and availability of the truck would be. Upon arrival the internet team member was not available and another agent was assig idea of what the pricing and availability of the truck would be. Upon arrival the internet team member was not available and another agent was assigned. The whole process was started all over again. What should have taken at most an hour ended up being over 3 hours. It was the typical back and forth with the sales agent running to the sales manger for approval and the manager whining about his margin. In the end, I purchased the truck. The price was close to what I was willing to pay but have no idea how they got there. If you plan to buy from Cloninger Hickory, good luck. More

After trading my car for one at Cloninger, the car was not detailed hardly at all, the Finance manager told us he was adding on different things because I was a veteran or because he valued us as a custom not detailed hardly at all, the Finance manager told us he was adding on different things because I was a veteran or because he valued us as a customer, never revealing that these things were being added to the cost of the car, the paint was chipped to the metal on the drivers door and no attempt to touch it up was done, insect casings and spider nests were inside the doors, the floor mats were dirty. We asked that the extras be removed that the Finance manager had added to the price. He states he took them off but did not give us corrected paperwork that reflected the price once they were removed. A friend then made an appt to test drive and see the car with someone at Cloninger Ford and after they promised they would hold the car, she drove 2.5 hours to see it and was told even though she received a text reminder this morning of her appointment, that the car had been sold to someone else. What incompetence!!! I would never recommend anyone go there! More
