Sorry that your experience was not good. My name is TJ Watson, I am one of the managers here at Coastal Hyundai, and I spoke to your General Sales Manger about your experience. We are implementing additional coaching for Edwin to insure that this does not occur again. Accessories like fog lights are now so commonly installed by the manufacturer or port that it is believable that not every service technician will have installed fog light for every year of a particular vehicle. They do however have guides and if that is not enough we actually have 2 Hyundai Platinum Master technicians(a lot of service centers have none) that could assist if a technician needs them too. I did see that you marked the quality of work to be a 5 star and we are glad to at least fulfill your expectations there. I am not sure what caused the service to take longer. There are a lot of factors that it could have been and I do not claim to know what it was at this time but someone should have come out and notified you that it would take longer. This is part of the coaching that we are doing with Edwin. We do apologize for this and would like to offer you a free detail and $25 gift card. Please contact me for this and I would like to see if there is anything that I can do to help. TJ Watson 321-723-4500 ext. 2054. As for the service waiting area. We had a closed service waiting room for years but changed that because we got a lot of recommendations from customers to change it. People really didn't seem to like the more closed in room with other people. This also allowed us to make a child's play area to give the children a separate place to wait but still allow the parents to be able to see them. We believed the tables were far enough away from the sitting area to not hear personal information unless the customer is speaking rather loudly but we will reevaluate the distance of the table.
