Bought a used 2016 Acadia Made a call and told Wally what I needed. I had to trade 2 cars and wanted to get a good used Acadia. He not only was able to do what I asked, he found the perfect car the wife was thrilled to have. The price was in our ballpark and getting all the paperwork done was simple. After taking the car home we noticed an issue with the brakes. Wally had me bring it in and service took care of everything and even let me take a loaner home for the night. Buyer beware- possible bait and switch used car scam I found a used vehicle online on Coggin of Orange Park's website and cars.com Sunday evening, so I contacted the dealership on Monday morning at 9am. I found a used vehicle online on Coggin of Orange Park's website and cars.com Sunday evening, so I contacted the dealership on Monday morning at 9am. I was put into contact with Mike Powell. I asked him if the vehicle was still available, so he checked the stock number and said it was still on the lot. He seemed short with me, but took all of my personal information and said he would write up an offer. He called 45 minutes later to state the vehicle had just been sold. While I understand this can happen, I find it highly unlikely a sale was completed so fast on a Monday morning. I do not believe he was truthful about the vehicle being on the lot. I feel this was unprofessional behavior and a deceptive tactic which makes me unlikely to become a customer or recommend this dealship in the future. More
