Service Department - Monies Missing On December 2, 2015 I went to Coggin Hyundai DeLand to have a faulty switch replaced in my 2013 Veloster. To date I have been to this location for al On December 2, 2015 I went to Coggin Hyundai DeLand to have a faulty switch replaced in my 2013 Veloster. To date I have been to this location for all service done on the vehicle without issue or incident. Today is December 23, 2015 and I have waited this long to provide Steve Stewart, Service Director ample opportunity to get back in touch with as promised regarding an incident which took place while having the vehicle serviced December 2, 2015. Eric Latham, Service Advisor checked me in service and obtained all the normal information needed and the car was taken back. Inside my vehicle, I keep a cup which contains monies (change) which builds up over the course of the days and/or months. This day to be honest I only had approx. $4 to $5 in coins in the cup, my US NAVY ring, and a small comb. When I went back to pick up my vehicle the cup of course had been emptied of all coins and left behind was my ring (thankfully) and the comb. I was instantly furious that someone in the service area would take my change so I approached the Service Director Steve, explained the change in my vehicle had been removed/stolen. Steve did what most managers do and explained that he didn’t think the technician who worked on my car or anyone in his service area would take the monies but he vowed to look into the manner and give it his full attention. He even offered to give me $5 from his pocket to which I replied it was not the amount of monies that is important to me it was simply the principle of the matter which angered me so much. As of today I have not heard a word from the Service Director Steve and at this point, I don’t expect too. This may not be the last Hyundai I ever own; however, I assure everyone it will be the last time I ever go for service at that dealership or purchase a vehicle from Coggin Hyundai DeLand. More

Great Service Department Took my Elantra in at 3:20 p.m. with no appointment. We were experiencing problems with the transmission while driving, away from home. The Service Ad Took my Elantra in at 3:20 p.m. with no appointment. We were experiencing problems with the transmission while driving, away from home. The Service Advisor, Eric Latham, accomadated their schedule to test drive and try to re-program the automatic transmission, that same afternoon. It was determined that the tranny had failed and needed replacement. We were provided a loaner and went home, the car is under new car original warranty, a new replacement transmission was procured and installed in nine days. Eric kept us informed at all times, and the mechanical work was done very well and neat. It has been 10 days since, and everything is well so far...We are very satisfied with Coggin Deland; wish could say the same about Hyundai, bad transmission after only 49412 original miles, NO GOOD!!! More
New car We just bought a 2016 Santa Fe Sport and couldn't be happier. We love the car. Our salesperson was awesome. He was nice and understood what we wanted. Walked the used and new lot before going inside. Everyone was busy and we were going to leave, when a salesman became available. After indicating what I was interested in, took a test drive. Had financing in place and knew what I wanted to pay, so didn't enjoy the pricing haggle that occurred. In the end, I got the car on my terms and I'm happy. More
