Lee, at all times was very professional, courteous and supportive through my purchasing experience. We had visited a Hyundai dealership where I had purchased my Hyundai Elantra seven years ago this August because of their buyback correspondence listing a fair price for my automobile but they failed to live up to it. Very deceitful. This behavior was reported to Hyundai Headquarters for remedial action. Hyundai of Deland was a complete welcome contrast. I intend to purcahse a new Hyundai for my Granddaughter this July. More

After meeting Lee I told him who I was and who my sister was, Lee remembered my sister and brother in law so I knew he was a great man. I told him what I was interested in and he showed me exactly what I wanted. Lee was extremely down to earth and great to talk with. I discussed with Lee what I would be able to afford and he made it happen!!!! I know when the time comes when I want a different vehicle I will definitely go see Lee. We decided to get out of the Santa Fe and into a car which we could get in and out of with more ease, since my wife has developed back problems. A friend suggested that we try Hyundai of Deland. We found a whole new world. These are genuinely nice people who go out of their way to make sure you have the vehicle that YOU want, not what they need to move today. The financial end was handled smoothly and fairly. They came up with rebates and allowances that I didn't even have to ask for. They restored our faith in the car buying experience. You will not feel like they are trying to deceive you. They are upfront about their services. The dealership has great rebates and they do deliver on their promises. I was promised a lower car note than what I previously had and that is what was delivered. One year of free oil changes and tire rotations. Excellent warranty and extended warranty on the vehicles. However, you should be cautious of where you purchase your Hyundai from. This is my experience: My first Hyundai was from Bob Dance in Sanford (now headquarter). At the time I believed it was great, I was happy, woohoo, I was getting a car... I wish I would have started here in Deland. The atmosphere here was the complete opposite of my past Hyundai purchasing experience. In Sanford I was basically sat down in a car with the sales manager and extremely pressured to buy the car. Like I said at the time I was just happy to be buying a car. This go around was my wife's turn for the new car, and I was fortunate enough when I walked in Hyundai of Deland, to be greeted by Lee. He is truly an outstanding person. All sales people want to sell you a car. (Why wouldn't they? Its their job) Lee never once tried to sell me anything. He asked me what I wanted & why I was there and simply pointed me to "this or that" section of the lot. Every car I thought I liked, he didn't bat an eyelash and was Johnny on the spot with the keys. I made this man walk me around the parking lot a good five times and test drive quite a few different cars before I actually decided to buy not one, but two new 2014 Sonatas. I highly recommend Hyundai of Deland, but even more so recommend W. Lee Richardson. If you have a choice of choosing a finance agent give Rodney a go around. A few days after my purchase I was reviewing the purchase paperwork & came across a few of what I thought were errors, but weren't errors at all. I called Rodney he guided me though my questioning and told me which forms / warranty papers go with each other. After being on the phone for about five or so minutes he cleared all my questions up. Buying from Hyundai of Deland was truly a pleasurable experience. I have already & will continue to recommend HoD to friends, family, and co workers. I cant wait to come buy another!!! More

We had a very good sales man and a good experience at the Deland dealership. This is the second car we have purchased from this dealership. We have to go out of our way to go here. We live in Edgewater Florida and it takes 45 minutes to travel to the Deland dealership but we feel it is worth it. More
