Before the holidays, my husband and I thought about replacing our Honda Accord (1997) which had over 215,000 miles on it. The car was running well, so we decided to go to a Honda dealership due to loyalty. However, as I talked to people that I met driving Hyundai cars, I decided that I might give the dealership in DeLand a visit. I wasn't sure of the exact car, but I knew I wanted a sedan. So Tom Cramer, our salesman, answered our questions courteously and professionally. He allowed us to walk around the dealership surveying the various models without feeling pressured into purchasing anything. After driving the elantra, I went to several dealerships and drove similar sedans. Three visits later with Tom, I told him we were ready to talk. Once my decision was made to purchase an elantra, the process was simply. Everyone was courteous and professional. Lana Thornburg was quite knowledgeable and helpful as well. Both she and Tom called me after my purchase within the next few days to see how my car and I were doing. Which by the way was great!!!! I look forward to a long relationship with the Hyundai of DeLand dealership. More

First off, thanks to Rubin! Without his understanding and professionalism we would have walked out of the dealership. On our first visit we test drove a Santa Fe and found the pricing a little high and the professionalism we would have walked out of the dealership. When we got home there was an Emial from Diane Greenlaw, their internet sales person, detailing a Santa Fe she had in stock(she had got out Email address from the Hyundai USA site). The price was remarkable even though she had inflated the MSRP by $1,000. The next day I gave a copy of the Email to Rubin and said I wanted to test drive this one. After 20 minutes the Dealership could not find the keys so the three of us started to walk the lot to find it with no success, another 20 minutes gone. We waited another 20 minutes before Rubin returned to share with us the car was not on the lot and a clerical error had occurred, there was no car. My first thought was the old Bait and Switch tactic since nobody from the desk or a Sales Supervisor even bothered coming out with Rubin. Rubin said he had taken our case to the top and the Store would keep the price even if they had to get one from another dealer which they did and also gave a little more on the trade. It still bothers me that no member of management stepped forward to smooth out our bad experience and felt the internet sales person should share the sale with Rubin. My first experience with Hyundai of Deland was back in April 2012 when I purchased my first car, it also was the first time that I met Diane (Princes Di) Greenlaw and from the moment that she offered to April 2012 when I purchased my first car, it also was the first time that I met Diane (Princes Di) Greenlaw and from the moment that she offered to show me around, I was very impressed. Never pushed me to make a quick decision or impress me with every car available in the showroom. Instead, she asked questions as what I was looking for, sharing my information with her so she can narrow the choices that were in front of me. We tested drive my first choice and to make my experience the best one ever purchasing a vehicle, I drove my Sonata home same afternoon. Diane, took the time to showed me every little detail in the car. What got my attention was her vast knowledge of the vehicle that she sold me and others that we looked at. My second experience, dealing with Diane, was on November 30th, we were looking for a second vehicle for my wife, and I decided to call Diane, based on my great experience and the way the dealer in general makes me feel, we arrived around 5:30 P.M., and after 3 and half hours, my wife was behind the wheel in her brand new Accent. Diane, again, did not push my wife to make any quick decision, instead, talked and worked with her, showed her the different models available and making sure that my wife needs were met. At the end of that night, my wife and I were very happy with the service provided and satisfaction that we very seldom get when making such a big purchase. Diane Greenlaw, deserves to be recognized for the treatment to her clients, and for the way she represents in every way the dealership. We believe that Diane not only serves her customers, but anyone that walks thru the doors in same fashion, as we brought a paper for the finance manager the next day, we were accompanied by family members visiting from out of town, they tought that she was a personal friend of us by the way she greeted us instead of a salesperson.
